  • Publication number: 20230334694
Abstract: Systems and methods for generating sensor spatial displacements between images using detected objects are provided. According to one embodiment, multiple images are received of an objective scene containing an object. The multiple images are captured by a sensor from different viewpoints. One or more differences is estimated between a first coordinate system associated with the object in a first image of the multiple images and a second coordinate system associated with the object in a second image of the multiple of images. Based on the one or more differences, a displacement is determined between a first position of the sensor from which the first image was captured and a second position of the sensor from which the second image was captured.

  • Publication number: 20220250056
Abstract: Toward forming a single hybrid biosensing-imaging system that can operate inside an incubator, structures and methods are directed to placing modular and removable biosensors and biocompatible interfaces in 3D transparent test wells that contain biological samples. The technology enables continuous monitoring of multiple simultaneous parameters and functions of a living cell or cell clusters such as alterations of cellular ligands, physicochemical biomarkers, phenotypes, and/or extracellular compositions upon interactions with analytes or during progressions. Methods of capturing and analyzing direct orthogonal information from biological samples in 2D and 3D, which are conducive to generating new insights are presented.

  • Publication number: 20110221633
Abstract: Methods and systems for determining the distance between two objects and optionally activating an alarm when the distance exceeds a predetermined threshold. The detection system includes a base unit and a remote unit. The base unit includes a first transmitter for transmitting at least one locator pulse; a first receiver for receiving at least one return pulse, the first receiver including a pulse detector for detecting the leading edge of the at least one return pulse; and a distance measurement unit. The remote unit includes a second receiver for receiving the at least one locator pulse; and a second transmitter for transmitting the at least one return pulse in response to the at least one locator pulse. The distance measurement unit is adapted for determining the distance between the base unit and the remote unit based on the leading edge of the at least one return pulse.
