Abstract: Apparatus for determining deviation of a volume of liquid from a predetermined volume comprises a main vessel (4) for receiving the liquid and a measuring vessel (5) from which the deviation is determined from the meniscus of the liquid in the measuring vessel (5). A communicating tube (49) extending from a neck (32) of the main vessel (4) communicates the main vessel (4) with the secondary vessel (5) through a ball valve (56). Liquid above a weir (55) in the neck (32) flows into the measuring vessel (5). The deviation of the liquid volume is read from a scale (26) adjacent the measuring vessel (5). A variable volume bladder (71) completely filled with liquid alcohol is mounted in the main vessel (4) for compensating for volume changes in the main vessel (4) due to temperature variations.

Abstract: A cleaning apparatus for a record disc comprises a support member having a top side and a bottom side. Locating means is provided for locating the support member relative to the center of a record disc. A knob is mounted on the top side of the support member for rotation about an axis offset from the location means whereby the support member may be manually rotated about the center of the record disc. A holder for a cleaning pad is mounted on the bottom side of the support member also for rotation about an axis offset from the locating means. A drive mechanism comprising a step-up gear is provided to couple the knob and the pad holder together such that rotation of the knob relative to the support member causes rotation of the pad holder relative to the support member.

Abstract: A towel dispenser for dispensing a towel loop so that the planes of the exit leg and the return leg of the loop are substantially in line with the user. The towel dispenser comprises a housing having front and rear walls and joined by a top wall and a base. The housing is adapted for mounting so that the rear wall is adjacent the wall or other structure on which the dispenser is mounted. A towel outlet and inlet slot are provided in the base and extend between the front and rear walls. A skid plate supports a clean towel roll which is dispensed between a drive and pinch roller. A take up roller winds up used towel. When not in use, the towel loop is substantially completely withdrawn into the housing.
