  • Patent number: 7859425
Abstract: The invention provides for exchanging a complete luminous unit (24) instead of exchanging the individual components such as a battery (64). For this purpose, at least one energy-saving light-emitting diode (56) as luminous means, a battery (64) and a magnetically actuable reed contact (66) serving as switching element are combined as luminous unit (24). The use of a cost-effective light-emitting diode (56) and a battery (64) formed in space-saving fashion in accordance with the low power demand of the light-emitting diode (56) permits a compact configuration of the luminous unit (24). The fact that the luminous unit (24) can be inserted into the floating body (22) as a unit and can be exchanged as a unit obviates a complicated battery change or change of luminous means entailing the risk of leaks.

  • Patent number: 7717041
Abstract: A simple device for generating pyrotechnic effects, in which an enveloping body (11) is formed from a plurality of interconnected plate-like layers between which the pyrotechnic charges (10) as well as the igniter means (12) are embedded. A configuration of the igniter means (12) as heating resistors, in particular as heating resistors whose conductors run in a meandering path. Such igniter means (12) are particularly suitable for use in the formation of a plate-like enveloping body consisting of a plurality of layers. By virtue of this enveloping body, the device assumes a shape comparable to that of a credit card or bank card.

  • Publication number: 20090032095
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the production of a semiconductor component having at least one optically reflective surface in which a silicon wafer, which has an etchable dielectric layer at least in regions on at least one of its surfaces, is provided with a silicon-containing masking layer in order to screen against fluid media. In addition a layer comprising aluminium is deposited on the masking layer and subsequently a thermal treatment of the semiconductor component is undertaken, the result being dissolving of the silicon in the aluminium. Furthermore, the invention relates to a corresponding semiconductor component made of a silicon wafer having at least one optically reflective surface. Semiconductor components of this type are used in particular as solar cells.
