  • Patent number: 8596585
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention relate to an aerodynamic body with an extension in the spanwise direction, wing chord direction and wing thickness direction for coupling to a wing of an aircraft. This aerodynamic body can here be used for a leading edge flap or slat of an aircraft wing. To improve the flow characteristics, the rear side of the aerodynamic body is provided with a skin section that can be molded between a convex curvature and concave curvature.

  • Publication number: 20130099062
Abstract: The present invention pertains inter alia to a structural arrangement, comprising a box structure, a first fibre portion which extends in a first plane, a second fibre portion which extends in a second plane, the first and the second fibre portion being interconnected at a crossing point thereof, the first fibre portion comprising a first portion on one side of the crossing point and a second portion on the other side of the crossing point, the first portion being connected to a first portion of the box structure and the second portion being connected to a second portion of the box structure, the second fibre portion forming, on one side of the crossing point, an inner web inside the box structure and, on the other side of the crossing point, an outer web outside the box structure.

  • Publication number: 20130091675
Abstract: The present invention pertains inter alia to a method for producing a component for connecting structures at crossing regions thereof, having the following steps: depositing first and second fibres on an underlay in such a way that a respective first fibre has an offset in the longitudinal direction of the first or second fibre with respect to a respective second fibre; connecting the first and second fibre along an overlap region, in which the first and second fibres overlap; and pivoting the first and second fibres with respect to one another to form the component.

  • Publication number: 20130094898
Abstract: A component for connecting structures to intersection regions of said component is disclosed, particularly for an aircraft or spacecraft, including a coupling element, including a first fibre which wraps around the coupling element so that the first fibre extends in a first plane in front of the coupling element and in a second plane behind the coupling element, the first and second planes intersecting, and including a second fibre which wraps around the coupling element so that the second fibre extends in a third plane in front of the coupling element and in a fourth plane behind the coupling element, the third and fourth planes intersecting, and with the first fibre portions of the first and second fibres crossing over in a first region and the second fibre portions of the first and second fibres crossing over in a second region.
