Abstract: A system and method for authorizing business information access. According to an embodiment, an application receives criteria for modeling a type of user to access business information, generates a group of users based on the criteria, and authorize access to the business information by the group of users. According to another embodiment, a data structure comprises one or more data elements identifying users, one or more data elements grouping the identified users based on specified criteria about business information to be accessed, and one or more data elements linking the group of identified users with the business information. An example of the present invention includes authorizing a channel partner to access and receive campaign information about a brand owner's products.

Abstract: A system and method for managing business partner qualifications. According to one embodiment, an application receives a request by an external business partner to assign a qualification to an entity associated with the external business partner, determines whether the qualification is authorized for direct assignment by the external business partner, and assigns the qualification to the entity if the qualification is determined to be authorized for direct assignment by the external business partner. According to another embodiment, an application receives a request to search qualification data associated with an entity associated with an external business partner, executes a search for the qualification data in response to the request, and provides results of the search.

Abstract: A system and method for managing channel partner responsibilities. According to an embodiment, an application receives an assignment of a responsibility to a channel partner or the channel partner's employees and assigns the responsibility thereto. According to another embodiment, an application receives a command by the brand owner to search for a channel partner or channel partner's employee based on responsibility data of the channel partner or the channel partner's employees, generates a search rule based on the command, executes the search rule in order to perform the search, and provides results of the search to the brand owner. According to another embodiment, in response to a command, an application searches a database for a channel partner to perform a job, selects a channel partner to perform the job whose responsibilities most closely match the job, and automatically dispatches the job to the selected channel partner.
