  • Publication number: 20170108332
Abstract: Motion contrast depth scanning is disclosed herein. A disclosed example apparatus includes an illumination source that is to provide at least one of spatial or temporal changes to light emitted from the illumination source to a scene. The example apparatus also includes a motion contrast sensor, where pixels of the motion contrast sensor are to detect changes corresponding to the scene, and where the motion contrast sensor is to report measurements when a pixel change exceeds a threshold. The example apparatus further includes a processor to determine at least one of a reflectance, a depth, or movement of the scene based on the reported measurements by the motion contrast sensor.

  • Patent number: 7525541
Abstract: Generating a three-dimensional image of a three-dimensional scene by generating projection data and projecting light rays based on the projection data to generate the three-dimensional image. Sampling of the data is based on at least one physical parameter associated with the projection of light rays by a projection system used to project the light rays.

  • Patent number: 7283308
Abstract: In general, in one aspect, the invention features systems that include a spatial light modulator, a scanning optical component configured to direct light from the spatial light modulator along a plurality of different paths, a projection optical assembly including a plurality of projection lens modules corresponding to the plurality of different paths, wherein each projection lens module is configured to receive light from the spatial light modulator directed along the corresponding path and projects an image of the spatial light modulator to a common image space.
