Abstract: An electrical energy accumulator and a method for manufacturing an electrical energy accumulator. Such an electrical energy accumulator, in particular, for an electric vehicle, has a plurality of battery cells which are electrically connected to one another. The battery cells are, in particular, flat and essentially plate-shaped, and are arranged in at least one stack adjacent to one another or one on top of another. The cell poles of at least two battery cells which are electrically interconnected to one another are connected to one another by at least one cell connector. At least one cell pole and at least one cell connector are connected to one another in particular by way of a clinching connection.
