  • Publication number: 20160373534
Abstract: A user network system allows establishing one-to-one or group connections between users and comprises a plurality of client devices associated with respective users (Um) and a network server accessible by said client devices for allowing communications between users. The system comprises: a network manager at said network server, facet generators configured to generate and store user facets containing selected user features defined user-by-user, a ID manager configured to associate to each user facet a unique facet ID and to link each facet ID of a given user with a corresponding unique user ID at said network manager in a non-traceable manner for users, said network manager being capable of initiating and establishing connections between users only through said user facets and said facet IDs. Associated methods and instructions are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 6427028
Abstract: A linear transformation of the image signal on a segment with an arbitrary geometrical shape includes the following steps: the sub-division of the segment into sub-segments of regular shapes (rectangular, square or linear shapes), the application of an orthogonal linear transformation to each sub-segment, the combining of the coefficients coming from the first transformation into classes of coefficients according to a predetermined criterion, and the iteration of the transformation on the classes of coefficients, and which can be applied to the processing of images for encoding.

  • Patent number: 6262409
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for the detection of the relative depth of two neighboring regions in relative motion with respect to each other in two images obtained from different shots of a scene, in order to know the composition of the scene. The method consists in carrying out a spatial segmentation of one of the images, called a reference image; a local estimation of the motion between the two images, the resultant vector field of which is called local motion; a determining of the motion estimation errors along the motion boundaries; and an analysis of the localization of the motion estimation errors along the motion boundaries to conclude that a region A is in front of a region B when the motion estimation error along the boundary is chiefly localized on the side B of this boundary.

  • Patent number: 5933547
Abstract: The invention concerns a method for interpolating images by means of triangulation and geometrical transformation, wherein a triangulation of images and an estimation of movements of apexes is carried out to insert images sub-sampled temporally or steroscopically.
