  • Publication number: 20030047349
Abstract: An integrated circuit package device (100, 200, 300) has a plurality of contact points including an inner portion of contact points (120) and an outer portion of contact points (110). The integrated circuit package device includes at least one of the following: (i) one or more power supply contacts (130) configured substantially in said outer portion; (ii) one or more ground contacts (220, 230) configured substantially in said inner portion; (iii) one or more timing or frequency contacts (140) substantially in said outer portion; (iv) one or more data or high speed signal contacts (310) configured substantially in said outer portion of said integrated circuit package device. This provides the advantage that the required capacitors can be located as close to the power supply contacts as possible, and the tracking to these contacts can be kept to a minimum.

  • Patent number: 6369801
Abstract: A contact device includes a first insulating film having a dome and a planar surface surrounding the dome. A contact electrode is formed on an inner surface of the dome. A detection circuit is located over a second insulating film. The detection circuit detects an electric contact between the contact electrode and the detection circuit. An electroluminescent layer is formed on the planar surface, where the electroluminescent layer does not overlap over the contact electrode and is formed on the planar surface without being formed on the dome.

  • Publication number: 20010040556
Abstract: The device integrates, on a synthetic material foil, a system for detecting the action of keys of a keyboard and a homogeneous illumination system for the keyboard. A film 10 is folded into two parts 11 and 12. Domes 13 are preformed on the upper part 11 and a detection circuit 16 is printed on the lower part 12. Contact electrodes 15 are fixed under each dome 13 so as to realize an electric contact with the detection circuit 16 when the dome 13 is pressed by means of a key 22 of the keyboard 20. The keys of the keyboard are illuminated by an electroluminescent ink 17 between the domes 13, deposited on a plane surface 18 of the upper part 11 of the synthetic material foil 10.
