    Abstract: A heated handle for a ski pole includes a body mounted to a stick of the ski pole, the body defining an inner chamber. A heating mechanism is in the body and is adapted to emit heat through the body and onto a user's hand. A battery is provided to supply power to the heating mechanism. On-off and temperature level controls are also provided The heating mechanism includes at least one heating wire. The battery is located in the handle, within the stick or exteriorly along the stick, and can take the form of a battery pack. The body can define openings for allowing heat inside the body to reach the user's hand. A secondary heating mechanism is also provided to heat the batteries so as to maintain the temperature thereof above a predetermined temperature.
