  • Patent number: 11520879
Abstract: A trusted execution environment migration method for a device comprising a multicore processor, the processor operable to execute a rich execution environment (REE) and a trusted execution environment (TEE), the method comprising: executing a TEE scheduler in the REE on a first core of the multicore processor; subsequent to a migration of the TEE scheduler from the first core to a second core, issuing a request, by the TEE scheduler and to a transition submodule in the TEE, to execute an operations submodule in the TEE, wherein the transition submodule is operable to manage the transition of a core of the processor between execution of the REE and execution of the operations submodule in the TEE, and wherein the transition submodule is executed on the same core as the TEE scheduler; upon execution of the operations submodule, determining if the core on which the operations submodule is executing has changed since the previous execution of the operations submodule.

  • Patent number: 11455387
Abstract: A trusted execution environment scheduling method for a device comprising a multicore processor, the processor operable to execute a rich execution environment (REE) and a trusted execution environment (TEE), the method comprising: providing a REE global scheduler in the REE, the REE global scheduler operable to schedule threads for execution in the REE; providing a TEE scheduler in the TEE, the TEE scheduler operable to schedule threads for execution in the TEE, wherein the TEE scheduler determines a number of runnable TEE threads which are either presently, or are awaiting, execution in the TEE and stores the number of runnable TEE threads in a location accessible to threads executing in the REE; providing a plurality of worker threads in the REE, the worker threads being in an activated state or in an deactivated state, wherein when an activated worker thread of the plurality of worker threads is executed according to the schedule of the REE global scheduler the worker thread makes a call to the TEE to cau

  • Publication number: 20200099964
Abstract: A conditional access module receives a multimedia stream transporting multimedia content and application data forming an application to be executed in relation to the multimedia content. At reception of the multimedia stream by the conditional access module, the application data is separated from the multimedia stream by an input filter included in the conditional access module. The application data includes a current authentication code. The input filter forwards the application data with the current authentication code to a quarantine memory associated with an application checker included in the conditional access module. The application checker verifies the current authentication code by using a reference authentication code previously acquired by the conditional access module. Upon successful verification of the authentication code, the application data is retrieved from the quarantine memory and merged by a merging module with the multimedia content previously separated by the input filter.

  • Patent number: 10123072
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and a device for providing proximity control in a satellite television media content distribution system comprising at least a primary receiver and a secondary receiver, whereby authorization to access the conditional access media content is given if the primary and secondary receivers are verified to be within a single household. The invention uses LNB control signaling, by the primary receiver, to cause the LNB to down-convert signals from pre-determined transponders onto a pre-determined frequency in the L-Band such that the secondary receiver may receive messages thus created through the primary receiver's controlling of the LNB.

  • Publication number: 20140258046
Abstract: A method of managing a transaction between a user intending to acquire a product and a merchant offering products. The user has a first terminal for communicating with said merchant and a second terminal for communicating with the financial institution. At least one transmission during the transaction is performed by near field communications. In addition, security is enhanced because longer validation codes can be used by the method.
