In one aspect, the method includes activating a phase of operator adjustment of the parameters, to show, on the information display, an angular viewing/masking sector of the scanning device having radii indicating the central axis orientation and the lateral edges of the angular viewing/masking sector, and touch-sensitive interactive zones configured to be angularly moved by the operator in order to set the corresponding parameters of the environment scanning device. The method further includes adjusting the orientation and aperture of the angular viewing/masking sector based on a touch-sensitive interaction between the operator and the corresponding interactive zones and moving at least one of the corresponding radii toward at least one new adjustment position.

Abstract: The invention relates to a display terminal for elements of a hierarchical database with n levels, at least some of the elements of the database belonging to a same hierarchical level having an association relationship, the terminal including at least two display parts (30, 32, 34). A first part (30) is intended to display a depiction by hierarchical levels of the elements of the database and a second part (32) is intended to display a graphic interaction object (36), having n display activation/deactivation zones (38a-38h), each display activation/deactivation zone (38a-38h) corresponding to a hierarchical level in the first display part (30). Abstract: A programming system for a situation analysis system on board a carrier including at least one onboard listening system is disclosed. In one aspect, the system includes an operating terminal including an information display. The display includes a first portion for displaying tactical data on the environment of the carrier and a second portion for displaying assistance in adjusting the operating parameters of at least one onboard listening system. The programming system includes a capability for an operator to select at least one object of interest on the first display portion and a capability for automatically adjusting operating parameters of the least one onboard listening system on the selected object(s) of interest.
