  • Patent number: 10177459
Abstract: A dual-band antenna panel comprises a plurality of dual-band radiating cells operating independently for a first frequency in a first frequency band and a second frequency in a second frequency band, the first frequency band being higher than the second frequency band, each of the radiating cells exhibiting a distinct feed to the first and to the second frequency. The antenna panel comprises radiating cells disposed according to a mesh dimensioned with respect to the first frequency band, and wherein the feeds to the second frequency of the radiating cells are clustered in packets within combiners having a single feed.

  • Patent number: 10122076
Abstract: A radiating device operating in two distinct frequency bands, a high frequency band and at least one sub-band of a low frequency band, the device comprises: at least one element of patch type adapted to the high frequency band and linked to a first feed, at least one element of folded slot type, adapted to the low frequency band and linked to a second feed different from the first feed, a filter positioned between the element of patch type and the first feed, configured to filter the sub-band of the low frequency band and to be passing for the high frequency band, and wherein the elements of which it consists are positioned in a surface area of less than or equal to a square of edge ?/2, where ? is the wavelength corresponding to the maximum frequency of the high frequency band.

  • Patent number: 6417804
Abstract: A control device for the formation of plural simultaneous radar reception beams in an electronic scanning antenna. The electronic scanning antenna includes an array of detectors of a reception microwave signal arranged in n columns and m rows. The control device makes, in the microwave domain, a first partial combination of the signals received, the first combination being made according to each column. An optical device makes a second partial combination in the optical domain, the optical device including at least n optical sources each producing an optical signal modulated at the frequency of the reception microwave signal by an associated microwave combination signal. The optical signal is divided into r optical signals to obtain nxr optical signals.

  • Patent number: 6313792
Abstract: An optical control device for an electronic scanning antenna having at least two controlled radiating elements, and including means for providing first and second mixed light beams, the first light beam polarized according to a first direction and having a first wavelength (&lgr;1), and the second light beam, polarized according to a second direction and having a second wavelength (&lgr;2); at least two optical delay circuits each receiving the first and second mixed light beams and configured to induce complementary delays compared to a determined time value on the first and second beams; chromatic separators each situated at the output of a corresponding one of the delay circuits and configured to separate the light having the first wavelength (&lgr;1) from the light having the second wavelength (&lgr;2); first photodetectors each coupling a corresponding radiating element to a corresponding chromatic separator; second photodetectors each coupling a corresponding chromatic separator to a corresponding first
