  • Patent number: 11559821
Abstract: A method of using a fluid dispenser unit having a reservoir and a piston that slides in the reservoir. The unit includes an extractor head secured to the reservoir to suck fluid to be dispensed into the reservoir, and a spray head assembled on the extractor head to spray the fluid out from the reservoir. The method includes the steps of sucking a fluid to be dispensed into the reservoir through the extractor head; assembling the spray head on the extractor head; and spraying the fluid through the spray head. The step of sucking up a fluid to be dispensed includes a first step of extracting a fluid, such as a solvent, from an extraction reservoir, and a second step of mixing the fluid with a first substance, such as a powder or a lyophilisate, so as to form the fluid to be dispensed.

  • Patent number: 11117414
Abstract: A security element and a value document having such a security element in the form of a strip having a first and second polymer layer are shown, having a visually recognizable halftone printed image, which is luminescent under UV radiation, between the first and second layer, wherein the halftone printed image has an opacity and forms at least one imprint area having a boundary contour within the security element. To increase the forgery protection, it is proposed that at least one of the two polymer layers have an opacity at least in the region of the boundary contour of the imprint area and be adapted in its opacity to the opacity of the imprint area, in order to diminish the visual recognizability of the boundary contour of the imprint area of the luminescent halftone printed image on the security element.

  • Patent number: 11052505
Abstract: The present invention concerns a method for sharpening a worn removable machining tip (3) and the corresponding sharpened tip. The tip having a first cutting edge (7) damaged after a first use (u1), said tip having, in the state prior to the use of same, specific dimensional and geometrical parameters within a defined tolerance range and said first undamaged cutting edge (7) having a defined sharpness, the method involves sharpening the cutting face (9) by removing material from said cutting face on said first damaged edge (7), in order to make said tip (3) match said specific dimensional and geometrical parameters within said defined tolerance range, having a second cutting edge (7?) of said defined sharpness.

  • Patent number: 10766295
Abstract: A value document having a security element in the form of a strip with a first polymer layer which comprises at least one embossed diffraction structure, having at least one reflection layer which visually interacts with the diffraction structure in order to form a reflection hologram as the first visually recognisable security feature, and having at least one imprint which is luminescent under UV radiation and which forms a second security feature that is visually recognisable under UV light, wherein the reflection hologram comprises at least one see-through region on the second security feature. In order to increase the level of protection against forgery of the security element, the luminescent imprint comprises a halftone print image, and the see-through region is formed by at least one recess in the reflection layer and by the polymer layer which is free in this region of the recess from the diffraction structure at least above the halftone print image of the imprint.
