  • Publication number: 20240233952
Abstract: Oncology faces a digital chasm in its quest for personalized treatments. Despite the adoption of electronic health records (EHR), most hospitals are ill-equipped for data science research. Embodiments herein describe a continuously learning infrastructure through which multimodal health data are systematically organized and data quality is assessed with the goal of applying artificial intelligence to address unmet clinical needs. Embodiments describe systems and methods for improved cancer prognostics, including by obtaining electronic medical records and performing natural language processing thereon. Additional embodiments apply term frequency inverse document frequency to identify terms that are predictive for cancer survival. Additional embodiments are capable of performing in silico clinical trials based on information comprised in a collection of health records.

  • Publication number: 20180347903
Abstract: A system for drying wood items for the agriculture-foodstuffs industry ensuring effective and economical tracking of the items produced comprises at least three conveyors arranged in such a manner as to constitute a closed circuit of conveyors to provide cyclic circulation of items disposed on these conveyors, at least two of the conveyors being inclined in such a manner that, in use, the items drop from one conveyor onto another, an exit conveyor that can be activated in a selective manner at a downstream end of one of the conveyors of the closed circuit in such a manner as to allow, when it is activated, the items to exit from the closed circuit, a plurality of vibrators adapted to cause the conveyors to vibrate, and heating means above the conveyors to dry the items deposited on the conveyors.

  • Patent number: 8682122
Abstract: A concentric insulation sleeve is disclosed having multi-layered structure. The outer layer exhibits low smoke and fume and non-halogen properties important for use of fiber optic cable assemblies in confined space susceptible to combustion conditions. The inner layer exhibits anti-static properties, and optionally slippery properties, to make the assembly of fiber strands in the insulation less charged with static electricity. The cable can become associated with other cables and serve as mini-ducts and then be surrounded by another insulation sleeve of the same construction to form a cable duct.
