    Abstract: An electrical connector includes a housing formed in a single piece and including a recess, a compression spring disposed in the recess, and a position assurance element having a head disposed in the recess and inserted through a first end of the compression spring. The compression spring is unloaded in a plugged-in position of the electrical connector into a mating connector and opposes plugging of the electrical connector into the mating connector in a loaded state. The first end of the compression spring exerts a force only on the position assurance element, the position assurance element exerts a force on the one-piece housing, and a second end of the compression spring opposite the first end along a longitudinal axis of the compression spring exerts a force only on the recess of the housing.

    Abstract: A substrate for contacting an electrical pin arranged in a housing includes a base having a recess receiving the electrical pin, a metal leadframe having a contacting region electrically and/or thermally contacting the electrical pin, and a contact pin extending along a mating direction in a plane parallel to the metal leadframe and configured to electrically contact a mating contact pin of a mating connector. The metal leadframe is rigidly fixed to the base to prevent a relative movement between the metal leadframe and the substrate. The substrate is movable with respect to the housing along a locking direction from an unlocked position where the substrate is not locked to the housing to a locked position in which the substrate is locked to the housing. A movement of the contacting region with respect to the electrical pin is prevented in the locked position.

    Abstract: A connector comprises a housing for receiving terminals therein, a secondary locking member mountable thereto and a linear bayonet type of slide-lock member to assist coupling of the connector to a complementary connector. In the preassembly position, the slide lock member is in a fully closed position where shoulders engage with latches of the secondary locking member which is in the preassembly position allowing reception of terminals in cavity of the connector housing. When the secondary locking member is depressed into its fully locked position, the latches disengage from the shoulders of the slide-lock member, thus allowing it to be opened to enable coupling to the complementary connector.
