  • Publication number: 20240175378
Abstract: An upstream part of an air-discharge system for a turbomachine includes: a tube with an upstream end and a downstream end, and an internal tubular structure located inside the tube and configured to form therein a narrowing of its cross section. The internal tubular structure is made in one piece with the tube at the downstream end of the tube and is freely suspended at the upstream end of the tube. A turbomachine with a device for discharging air from the bearing chambers, in which the air is conducted towards the outside of the turbomachine by the air-discharge system is provided. A method for manufacturing the air-discharge system is provided.

  • Patent number: 11616304
Abstract: An antenna (100) for emitting radiation from at least one electromagnetic traveling wave which propagates along a guide path is designed to reduce reflection of the traveling wave likely to occur at the end of the guide path. To this purpose, the guide path has at least one portion in the form of a spiral segment (11, 12), which is connected to another portion of the guide path in the form of a loop (13). Gain in the antenna's reflection coefficient can be obtained in this manner, which is effective in particular near a lower frequency limit of a transmission band of the antenna.

  • Patent number: 10807194
Abstract: A device fabricates annular pieces by selectively melting powder. The device includes an inner annular wall and an outer annular wall that are concentric and that define an annular powder deposition zone, and a powder dispenser movable in rotation about an axis of the inner and outer annular walls. The powder dispenser includes a wiper extending between the inner annular wall and the outer annular wall and forming an angle with the radial direction of the inner and outer annular walls.

  • Patent number: 8289223
Abstract: The invention relates to an antenna comprising a plurality of metallic elements (10, 20, 30, 40), said metallic elements (10, 20, 30, 40) being in point contact (11, 21, 31, 41) with a ground plane (M) and equally distributed about a central axis of symmetry (D) of the antenna, perpendicular to the ground plane (M). The antenna of the invention is characterized in that each metallic element extends from the point contact at a non-zero angle of inclination (q) to said ground plane (M) and in that the ground plane (M) includes at least one cavity (80-83, 84-87) so that, in operation, the antenna matching is better in a specified frequency band than when the ground plane (M) has no cavities.
