Abstract: Geranylgeranyl-2-propanol compound (GGP) having the following formula (I) is proposed for use according to the present invention as a cosmetic active compound for the prevention and treatment of aging of skin and its appendages. The GGP has a protective action against oxidative stress and free radical, on telomeres and on mitochondria and its activity.
