Abstract: The present invention relates to a flexible pipe adapted in particular for transporting fluids or powder materials, the pipe comprising at least one leaktight and flexible tube within which a said fluid or a said material can be conveyed, the pipe comprising a clamping device covering said leaktight tube over at least a fraction of the length of said pipe, preferably over all of said pipe, said clamping device comprising at least one sheath and clamping means for clamping said sheath, said sheath and said clamping means being adapted, at rest, to preserve the pliability and the flexibility of said pipe, and when a determined stress is applied, to stiffen said pipe and freeze its position over the length of said pipe covered by said clamping device. An actuator for such a pipe is also proposed by the present invention.
