  • Patent number: 11965410
Abstract: The disclosure presents processes to determine one or more recommendations to well construction operations, generated by analyzing impacts on well construction operations. The impacts can include impacts to the drilling assembly, impacts of the subterranean formation characteristics, impacts on cost, time and performance of the well construction operation, impacts on the service quality, impacts to system integrity, impacts to surface equipment, as well as other impact types, such as geological surveys, seismic surveys, stratigraphic analysis, or reservoir estimations. Each impact can be analyzed using an impact parameter and a softness parameter. An impact map can be computed for each of the parameters, and then the impact maps can be combined to compute one or more integrated impact maps from which the recommendations can be determined. The recommendations can be communicated to a well construction system, such as a geo-steering system, a user system, a well site controller, or other systems.

  • Patent number: 11941085
Abstract: A video clip showing a wellsite activity can be extracted from a video and then labeled for use in training a machine-learning model in some examples described herein. In one such example, a system can train a model with a set of training data to identify an object and a corresponding spatial location of the object in each image frame in a video depicting a wellsite activity. The system can analyze image frames in the video using the trained model to identify a target image frame in which the object is present in a predefined spatial area thereof, where the predefined spatial area is associated with the wellsite activity. The system can then generate a video clip that includes only a subpart of the video based on the target image frame, where the subpart includes a series of consecutive image frames containing the target image frame.

  • Publication number: 20240072794
Abstract: A receiver circuit comprising: an input-pin; a receiver-input-node; a ground-pin; an internal-node that is connected to the input-pin; and a MOSFET. The MOSFET has a conduction channel connected in series between the internal-node and the receiver-input-terminal; and a gate terminal, the voltage at which sets the conductivity of the conduction channel. The receiver circuit also includes an amplifier that: has an input terminal that is connected to the internal-node; and provides a voltage control signal to the gate terminal of the MOSFET such that the voltage at the internal-node with respect to the ground-pin is constant.

  • Publication number: 20230289911
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer storage media for providing ecosystem carbon emissions data using an ecosystem management engine in a carbon emissions management system. The ecosystem management engine operates as a collaborative integration platform for managing carbon emissions associated with a client and suppliers of the client based on a plurality of ecosystem management operations (e.g., data exchange and aggregation, self-service carbon emissions calculations, data validation, and carbon reduction evaluation). In operation, using an ecosystem management engine, a client communicates a request for carbon emission data from a supplier of the client. The carbon emissions data comprises product-level data of the supplier. Based on communicating the request, the client receives the carbon emissions data. One or more ecosystem management operations are executed on the carbon emissions data.

  • Publication number: 20230196480
Abstract: Introduced herein are techniques that can create descriptive taxonomies of expected data streams and identify and associate each incoming data stream with the taxonomies automatically. The introduced techniques can significantly reduce the human intervention and efforts and hence the number of human errors in identifying and mapping signals. The introduced techniques can also automatically store values of the data streams and their corresponding taxonomies as facts and dimensions in a business intelligence (BI) data repository/warehouse. Doing so, the techniques create a BI data repository with various sets of logically nested dimensions and facts that can be used to analyze performances of various assets in petroleum service environment. Leveraging their similar hierarchical structures and elements, the techniques can expand and combine taxonomies and allow an end user to, not only analyze performances of assets in a specific rig, but across multiple rigs and projects, which were not possible before.

  • Publication number: 20230058770
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer storage media for providing an insight capturing interface of an insight capturing engine in a data analytics system. The insight capturing interface refers to an interaction mechanism for capturing and aggregating answers from users. The responses are used to generate, identify, derive insights (e.g., relationship information) that correspond to features (e.g., user features, product features) associated with the responses. The insight capturing interface operates with the insight capturing engine to sequentially generate a combination of interface elements for retrieving the responses. In particular, the insight capturing engine operates to provide a survey (e.g., a perpetual survey) in which users continuously prompted with a pair of products to capture their insights, where the insights support generating inference models.

  • Publication number: 20220358515
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer storage media for providing carbon emissions data analytics recommendations using a carbon emissions data analytics engine in a carbon emissions management system. The recommendation can be associated with simulated carbon emissions optimization results data based on carbon emissions data analytics model of the carbon emissions management system. In operation, using statistical modeling, existing carbon emissions factors of standard activities are retrieved, merged and augmented. Activity data (e.g., activity data of an organization) are automatically mapped to the carbon emissions factors. Input data comprising the activity data mapped to the augmented carbon emissions factors is processed using a carbon emissions data analytics models. Processing the input data can include forecasting, scenario simulation, and scenario optimization.

  • Patent number: 10282382
Abstract: A plurality of input data to be used to compute a first output is received. The first output is computed. It is determined that the computed first output is outside a pre-determined first-output limit. A plurality of hyperlinks is displayed on a display device. Each hyperlink provides a link to a process for making adjustments to the plurality of input data to bring the first output within the pre-determined first-output limit. Selection of one of the plurality of hyperlinks (the “selected hyperlink”) is detected. A process associated with the selected hyperlink is followed to produce an adjustment to the plurality of input data to bring the first output within the first pre-determined first-output limit. The adjusted plurality of input data is used to plan implementation of a system. The sequence of selection of hyperlinks is tracked in order to reinforce the prioritization and order of future suggestions. The system is implemented.

  • Patent number: 10139496
Abstract: A multi-radiation identification and dosimetry system and method that allows for monitoring of alpha, beta, and gamma radiation is disclosed. The system/method incorporates a segmented silicon drift detector (SSDD) that allows measurement of directly absorbed radiation in the semiconductor (betas, conversion electrons, Lx lines, and alphas) on one SSDD segment and radiation from a radiation scintillation detector (RSD) on multiple segments of the SSDD. With the anode side of the SSDD directed toward the radiation inspection surface (RIS), the SSDD+RSD stacked radiation detector collects radiation which is processed by a charge sensitive amplifier (CSA) and then processed by a time stamping differentiator (TSD). A computing control device (CCD) may be configured to collect the time stamp differentiation data from the various SSDD segments to permit the simultaneous discrimination of several types of radiation by and presentation of these radiation types and counts on a display monitor.

  • Publication number: 20180293438
Abstract: An example method of providing a digital representation of a well schematic includes storing a set of text strings and a set of image regions into a coordinate map. The method includes associating one or more text strings with one or more image regions. A text string is associated with an image region based on a context of the text string in the coordinate map. The method further includes linking one or more image regions with a corresponding catalogued image stored in a component database. The catalogued image represents a well schematic component. The method also includes generating a well schematic topology in accordance with the coordinate map and the one or more catalogued images linked with the one or more image regions. The method further includes updating the well schematic topology in accordance with one or more business rules.
