Abstract: An apparatus and methods for golf swing training in order to improve a user's golf swing is disclosed in which a shaft or post is configured to be stabilized by locating an extension of the post into a receptacle, such as a trailer hitch on the back of a car or truck or a separate base unit. At the top of the shaft, a bar is pivotally connected to the shaft at an attachment point, while the other end of the bar is connected to a golf club, so that when a player practices swinging the club, the club remains in the correct position from the beginning to the end of the swinging motion.
