Abstract: Generating mixed reality (MR) or augmented reality content and displaying such content in a synchronized manner with the display of digital program content and/or viewing of actual objects in an environment is described. Methods support displaying relevant augmented reality (AR) content on a head mounted display or glasses. In some embodiments a MR HMD is synchronized to a physical display device such as a TV with the MR HMD device being supplied with a stream of high-fidelity images or holograms in a supplemental content stream. In one augmented reality embodiment content relevant to an object in the environment of the user device can be generated and displayed in accordance with preference information corresponding to user. The displayed object may have a color and/or features selected by the user with the generated image showing features not visible in an actual sample physical item present at the store or dealership.

Abstract: A request, from an end user device associated with a user, for supplemental media is received. Based on the request, metadata and a broadcast time associated with a primary media stream transmitted to the end user device is determined. Based on the metadata and the broadcast time, supplemental media from an account of the user on a platform is retrieved. A supplemental media stream, that includes the supplemental media, is sent in synchronization with the primary media stream.

Real time imagery of a scene within a field of view of a camera is received. It is determined that the imagery depicts a first object. It is determined that the first object comprises a first network-attached device attached to a network. Information that corresponds to the first network-attached device is obtained, and the information is presented in conjunction with a real time view of the scene.

Abstract: Delivering pre-rendered holographic content over a network is disclosed. A first camera view segment of a plurality of camera view segments that compose a holographic video is selected. Each camera view segment corresponds to a different camera view perspective of a scene and includes rendered holographic content that depicts a plurality of concurrent different viewer perspectives of the scene. The first camera view segment is streamed toward a holographic display for presentation of the first camera view segment on the holographic display.

The first supplemental media and the second supplemental media are merged into an aggregate supplemental media stream. The aggregate supplemental media stream is streamed in synchronization with the primary media stream.
