  • Publication number: 20230236543
Abstract: Systems and methods are directed to automatically generating a three-dimensional (3D) holographic presentation from a two-dimensional (2D) slide presentation. A network system receives an indication to generate the 3D holographic presentation, which causes automatic generation of the 3D holographic presentation by the network system. In response to receiving the indication, the network system accesses the 2D slide presentation from a user device associated with a presenter and accesses, from a mapping database, a plurality of mappings that indicate how to convert elements of each slide of the 2D slide presentation into a 3D format. The network system then transforms elements of each slide from a 2D format into the 3D format based on the plurality of mappings. The 3D holographic presentation is generated from the transformed elements by blending the transformed elements with a background and/or real-world image data captured by an image capture device.

  • Publication number: 20230075903
Abstract: An extensible user experience framework uses a graphical user interface (GUI) panel output for display at a client device to display alerts of real-time communications and presenting single-click options for a user of the client device to select to initiate actions in response to those alerts. The GUI panel persists at a top of a foreground of a display of the client device. An entry identifying a real-time communication received at the client device is output within the GUI panel and includes one or more response actions that are each selectable within the GUI panel to initiate a different action for the real-time communication. Based on a selection of a response action of the one or more response actions, an action is initiated for the real-time communication.

  • Patent number: 11513668
Abstract: An extensible user experience framework includes outputting a graphical user interface (GUI) including a persistent panel for displaying alerts of real-time communications and presenting single-click options for users to select to initiate actions in response to those alerts. A GUI is output for display at a client device. The GUI presents one or more alerts and one or more response actions for each of the one or more alerts, in which each of the alerts corresponds to different real-time communications received at the client device, and the response actions for a given alert are each selectable by a single user interaction to initiate a different action for a real-time communication associated with the given alert. An action for the real-time communication associated with the given alert is later initiated responsive to a selection of a response action for the given alert.

  • Patent number: 11427176
Abstract: A remotely actuated vehicle pedal depression apparatus includes a handheld unit operatively coupled to a distal unit. Manual compression of an actuator disposed on the handheld unit effectuates extension of an extendable member forwardly from an anterior member disposed on the distal unit. Distal unit may be positioned in a footwell of an automobile to effectuate depression of a targeted pedal while a user performs observational diagnostics on the automobile without the assistance of another person.

  • Patent number: 9623057
Abstract: The method of making a fermented dairy product from camel milk includes heating camel milk at 85° C. for thirty minutes, cooling the milk to about 60° C. and adding a stabilizer or hydrocolloid (preferably 0.02% by weight ?-carrageenan) to avoid whey off (whey separation) problems, then cooling the milk and adding a probiotic bacterial culture. The camel milk is fermented at between 40° C. and 45° C. for a time ranging between 4 and 12 hours, depending upon the particular bacterial culture used. The fermented camel milk is subjected to three successive storage steps to enrich the D-amino acid, antioxidant and antimicrobial content, storing the fermented camel milk at a temperature of 10° C. for 14 hours, then storing the fermented camel milk in a cold room at a temperature of 4° C., and then storing the fermented camel milk in a refrigerator at a temperature of 4° C. for between 1 and 15 days.

  • Patent number: 9584526
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for enabling anonymous posting of content, e.g., over a network (e.g., the internet). In some instances, users may inform a system of various attributes of the user, for example, job title, skills, and/or interests. The system may group similar users together. In some cases, users grouped together can see messages posted by the other users in the group in an anonymous discussion forum. In other cases, users grouped together can have other users in the group presented to them as potential options of users to follow, e.g., as part of an anonymous social media platform. In some implementations, users can identify particular user subsets to view posted content.

  • Publication number: 20050289233
Abstract: A method and system is presented for autonomic self-surveillance of equipment. The system includes a coupler, which has a first component attached to a support rack and a second component attached to the equipment. When coupled, the coupler secures the equipment to the support rack. If the coupler becomes uncoupled, resulting in the equipment being uncoupled from the support rack, then an alert signal is sent over a network, thus notifying a remote location that the equipment is no longer secured to the support rack.
