    Abstract: A water dispenser, which is for controlling a water flow of a water dispensation having a water outlet, includes a faucet adapted for mounting on a counter and an operating mechanism which includes a switch being supporting under the counter, a valve operatively linked to the switch for operatively mounting at the water outlet, and a hosting object magnetically connected to the switch when moving the hosting object on the counter. When the hosting object is moved to align with the switch, the valve is actuated at an opened position for allowing water to flow to the faucet. When the hosting object is moved away from the switch, the valve is actuated at a closed position for blocking the water to flow to the faucet.

The terminal pins are positioned for attachment to a structure such as a circuit board or lead frame. The first component member has pins for ultrasonic staking to a second component member. The second component member covers the first component member and the first and second component members provide an area for receiving and mounting the solenoid coil assembly to a valve assembly. The solenoid coil assembly positions first component member including the coil about the valve assembly.

    Abstract: A uniformly preset spring force pre-load among a number of identical solenoid actuated valve assemblies (28) by uniquely adjusting the spring pocket length (L) of each respective plunger (12) to accommodate a respective spring (20) which is uniquely mated thereto. This adjustment is accomplished using a two-component plunger (12) consisting of a plunger body (14) having a central bore (22) and a rod (18) slidably located within the central bore. The rod (18) is press-fit into the central bore (22), and the spring pocket includes a portion of the central bore unoccupied by the rod. By pressing the rod (18) a selected distance into the central bore (22), a precisely set spring pocket is obtained which is uniquely correct for a selected spring (20), in that the selected spring is compressed to a precisely preset spring force pre-load.

    Abstract: A coil assembly includes a spool (102) having an upper flange (104), a medial flange (106) and a lower flange (108). A terminal groove (118) is established between the upper flange (104) and the medial flange (106), and a winding bay (110) is established between the medial flange (106) and the lower flange (108). Ramps (130) are formed in the groove (118) and at least two terminal posts (126), each having a foot (128), are inserted through the upper flange such that each foot (128) is disposed within the groove (118). Each terminal post (126) is movable between a winding position, wherein the foot (128) protrudes outwardly to facilitate engaging a coil wire end (132), and a retracted position, wherein the foot (128) is retracted behind the respective ramp (130).
