Patent number: 9578047Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for monitoring and detecting intrusions and authenticating messages on a communication network of a vehicle. A plurality of signals transmitted over communications network between an electronic control module and a remote electronic module are monitored. Reflectometry feature sets are extracted from the plurality of signals and compared to a repository of predetermined communication network feature sets to generate a mismatch value. The mismatch value is compared to a predetermined threshold range and an authenticated event occurs when the mismatch value is within the predetermined threshold range. When the mismatch value is outside the predetermined threshold range, a flagged event occurs and is recorded.Type: GrantFiled: January 13, 2015Date of Patent: February 21, 2017Assignee: GM GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY OPERATIONS LLCInventors: Moshe Laifenfeld, Yuval Polevoy, Timothy D. Patent number: 9205301Abstract: A platform assembly includes a lower box, which is supported at the corners on inflatable feet, and a platform which is tiltable relative to the lower box by a lifter mechanism inside the box. The platform assembly is universally usable to support exercise equipment, in particular exercise bicycles such as spinning cycles. A complete studio may be outfitted by supporting each of a multitude of exercise cycles on a universal platform. A screen display in front of the cycles plays a moving picture of a trip, which is emulated by the participants in the exercise and workout routine. The platform is raised and lowered, as well as tilted, in synchronicity with the display. On raising the front of the platform, which represents an incline in the travel path, the resistance of the bicycle is increased.Type: GrantFiled: February 26, 2014Date of Patent: December 8, 2015Assignee: VirtuRide LLCInventor: Omer Cohen

Patent number: 8773895Abstract: A memory cell with an internal supply feedback loop is provided herein. The memory cell includes a latch having two storage nodes Q and QB, and a supply node. A gating device couples the supply node of the latch to the supply voltage. The gating device is controlled by a feedback loop coming from storage node QB. Due to the aforementioned asymmetric topology, the writing of logic “1” and the writing of logic “0” are carried out differently. Contrary to standard SRAM cells, in the hold states, only the QB storage node presents a valid value of stored data. The feedback loop cuts off the supply voltage for the latch such that the latch is no longer an inverting latch. By cutting off the supply voltage at the stable hold states, while maintaining readability of the memory cell, leakage currents associated with the hold states are eliminated altogether.Type: GrantFiled: February 26, 2013Date of Patent: July 8, 2014Assignee: Ben-Gurion University of the Negev Research and Development AuthorityInventors: Adam Teman, Lidor Pergament, Omer Cohen, Alexander Fish

Patent number: 8531873Abstract: An SRAM memory cell with an internal supply feedback loop is provided herein. The memory cell includes a latch that has a storage node Q, a storage node QB, a supply node, and a ground node. The supply node is coupled via a gating device to a supply voltage and ground node is connected to ground. In addition, storage node Q is fed back via feedback loop into a control node of the gating device. In operation, writing into the memory cell may be carried out in a similar manner to dual port SRAM cells, utilizing one or two write circuitries and for writing into storage node Q and storage node QB respectively. Differently from standard SRAM cells, the feedback loop, by controlling the gating device is configured to weaken the write contention.Type: GrantFiled: May 8, 2011Date of Patent: September 10, 2013Assignee: Ben-Gurion University of the Negev Research and Development AuthorityInventors: Adam Teman, Lidor Pergament, Omer Cohen, Alexander Fish

Patent number: 7604749Abstract: Wet anisotropic etching techniques are well known micromachining apparatus in MEMS technology. The wet anisotropic etchant etch some of the material crystal planes faster than the other. For example the (001) planes are etched much faster than the (111) planes. The final shape is dependent upon the etch mask and the crystal planes orientation. A technique is described hereafter where the nature of the wet anisotropic etch process is used for fabrication of electrostatic transducers and in particular electrostatic comb drive actuators and sensors. Using the same anisotropic wet etching technique it is possible to reduce the cross section of suspensions and thus to soften a spring or to change the resonance frequency of mechanical resonators. Final cross section is dependent of the etching time. Under the anisotropic wet etching the cross section of the suspensions is changed rapidly.Type: GrantFiled: December 21, 2006Date of Patent: October 20, 2009Inventor: Omer Cohen
