    Abstract: An electrical connector includes a first terminal and a second terminal. The second terminal is fixed at the first terminal and enclosed by the first terminal, in which the second terminal includes a tube-shaped structure, the tube-shaped structure has a clipping portion and two end-surfaces, the two end-surfaces lean against each other to form a seam. The inner diameter of the clipping portion is smaller than the inner diameters of other portions of the tube-shaped structure. When a third terminal of a coupling connector is inserted into the tube-shaped structure to make the tube-shaped structure elastically deformed, the two end-surfaces are separated from each other and the clipping portion clips the third terminal.

    Abstract: Non-planar Metal Oxide Field Effect Transistors (MOSFETs) and methods for making non-planar MOSFETs with asymmetric, recessed source and drains having improved extrinsic resistance and fringing capacitance. The methods include a fin-last, replacement gate process to form the non-planar MOSFETs and employ a retrograde metal lift-off process to form the asymmetric source/drain recesses. The lift-off process creates one recess which is off-set from a gate structure while a second recess is aligned with the structure. Thus, source/drain asymmetry is achieved by the physical structure of the source/drains, and not merely by ion implantation. The resulting non-planar device has a first channel of a fin contacting a substantially undoped area on the drain side and a doped area on the source side, thus the first channel is asymmetric. A channel on atop surface of a fin is symmetric because it contacts doped areas on both the drain and source sides.

In at least some embodiments, an integrated circuit includes a cross-point array comprising memory elements disposed among word lines and bit lines, where a parameter can affect the operating characteristics of a memory element. The integrated circuit further includes a data signal adjuster configured to modify the operating characteristic to compensate for a deviation from a target value for the operating characteristic based on the parameter. In some embodiments, the memory element, such as a resistive memory element, is configured to generate a data signal having a magnitude substantially at the target value independent of variation in the parameter.

The keypoint generator computes initial descriptors for keypoints in a test image. The matching module compares the filtered descriptors to one or more database image sets for categorizing said test image. A processor of an electronic device typically controls the image manager to effectively perform the image categorization procedure.

    Abstract: Methods for forming uniformly spaced and uniformly shaped fine lines in semiconductor processes using double patterning. Dummy lines are formed over a substrate. Sidewall spacer material is deposited over the top and sides of each of the dummy lines. Etching is performed to remove the top surface sidewall spacer material from the tops of the dummy lines. The dummy material is removed by selective etching leaving the spacer material. A photolithographic mask is formed defining inner lines that are desired for a substrate etching step, and temporary lines outside of the desired lines. The temporary lines are partially masked. The temporary lines are partially removed while the inner desired lines are retained. A transfer etch process then patterns an underlying mask layer corresponding to the inner desired lines, and the mask layer is used for etching lines in an underlying semiconductor substrate.
