  • Publication number: 20130208928
Abstract: A ZONE4 left audio signal Z4L is output without releasing a connection of a surround left speaker SSL. When determining that a playback of the ZONE4 left audio signal Z4L is set by a user manipulation, a controller 2 controls switches S11b and S13b in an on state, and controls switches S11a, S13a, and S13c in an off state. Accordingly, the ZONE4 left audio signal Z4L is supplied from a DSP to an amplifier 12a through the switch S11b, amplified by the amplifier 12a, and supplied to a surround back left/ZONE4 left SP terminal 14b through the switch S13b. A surround left SP terminal 14a is an output terminal dedicated to a surround left audio signal, so that the ZONE4 left audio signal Z4L can be output without releasing the connection of the surround left speaker SSL.

  • Publication number: 20130202115
Abstract: A pre-out terminal that outputs the audio signal is fixed. One of a surround back left audio signal SBL, a left outside audio signal LW, and a left upside audio signal LH is selected by a user operation, and output to a pre-out terminal 11c. A determination which one of two signals except the pre-out terminal in the signals SBL, LW, and LH is included in multichannel audio data is made. When it is determined that the signal SBL is included, the signal SBL amplified by an amplifier 12a is supplied to an SBL speaker terminal 14a. When it is determined that the signal LW is included, the signal LW amplified by the amplifier 12a is supplied to an LW speaker terminal 14b. When it is determined that the signal LH is included, the signal LH amplified by the amplifier 12a is supplied to an LH speaker terminal 14c.

  • Publication number: 20130205249
Abstract: A controller for obtaining a contents list via a network, in which a contents list of scroll destination is quickly obtained when a scroll instruction is input, is provided. When the scroll instruction in the contents list is input by a user's operation, the controller sets a scroll list obtaining flag into an on state, and preferentially obtains contents information about the scroll destination. When the scroll list obtaining flag is set into the on state, the controller does not transmit a normal contents list obtaining request to a contents list transmitting apparatus. Since the controller transmits the normal contents list obtaining request after average response time passes, the controller can obtain the contents information about scroll destination in the contents list without delay.

  • Publication number: 20130190909
Abstract: A pre-out terminal that outputs a left outside audio signal can be fixed and an increase of the number of DACs is prevented. In the case that a surround back left audio signal SBL and a left outside audio signal LW are included, the signal SBL is amplified and output to a surround back left SP terminal 14a through a switch S13a. The signal LW is amplified and output to a left outside SP terminal 14b through a switch S13c. The signal LW is supplied from a DAC 11b to a left outside pre-out terminal 11d through a switch S11c. At this point, in order to supply the signal LW to the left outside pre-out terminal 11d, a DAC 11c is not used, but the DAC 11b is used. Accordingly, the DAC 11c can be used for another signal (ex., ZONE2) to decrease the number of DACs.

  • Publication number: 20130182885
Abstract: An electrodynamic speaker in which the number of steps of forming a tinsel wire to be connected to a voice coil and connecting the tinsel wire to a terminal can be reduced is provided. A frame of the electrodynamic speaker includes an edge mounting section, a magnetic circuit mounting section, a coupling section for coupling the edge mounting section and the magnetic circuit mounting section so as to define a plurality of window sections, a terminal fixing section for fixing a terminal, and at least one void for dividing the edge mounting section having an approximately annular shape, the void being communicatively connected to the window sections of the coupling section. A middle portion of the tinsel wire passes through the void or the window sections communicatively connected to the void, and the other end of the tinsel wire is connected and fixed to the terminal.

  • Publication number: 20130163770
Abstract: A channel divider that can suitably set a crossover frequency when a biwiring-connectable multiway speaker system including network circuits are used is provided. The channel divider includes a low-pass filter LPF and a high-pass filter HPF for dividing a band of a sound signal into a first output signal and a second output signal so as to output the signals, and a control circuit for controlling the filters. The channel divider has a sound output mode in which the control circuit sets a cutoff frequency fcL of LPF to a value higher than fc0 by about ? to 1 Oct., sets a cutoff frequency fcH of HPF to a value lower than fc0 by about ? to 1 Oct., and outputs the first output signal and the second output signal including frequency bands fcL to fcH when any crossover frequency fc0 for defining the band division is specified.

  • Publication number: 20130148825
Abstract: A volume control system, that can easily check current volume values with respect to volume values settable in a plurality of audio output devices when a volume value representing the volume values of the audio output devices is displayed, is provided. A controller of the volume control system can be connected to the plurality of the audio output devices, and can control the audio output devices. The controller obtains the volume values of the audio output devices and predetermined upper limit volume values stored in the audio output devices, and displays percentages of the volume values with respect to the predetermined upper limit volume values as total volume values. Further, the controller displays values that are determined by multiplying the total volume values and percentages of the predetermined upper limit volume values with respect to prescribed values as the volume values of the audio output devices.
