  • Publication number: 20060261753
Abstract: A stepped dimming ballast comprising a filter and rectifier circuit (1), a DC high voltage stabilizing circuit (2), a frequency control and switch circuit (3), a load current feedback circuit (5), a voltage signal processing circuit (6) and a voltage signal sampling circuit (7). The present invention is adapted for use in conjunction with a silicon controlled rectifier dimmer and/or a regular light switch whereby it is novel in structure and able to effect dimming in two predetermined and reliable operation modes.

  • Publication number: 20060006779
Abstract: This present invention relates to a fluorescent lamp and, in particular, a compact fluorescent lamp or an enveloped fluorescent lamp with high surface load using new cold-end technology. The present invention includes at least one lamp tube with a cathode, stem cap and wire disposed at each end and forms a whole integral discharge cavity. A cavity tube connecting through the lamp tube is extended from at least one end of at least one lamp tube to form a light emitting zone and cold-end zone in the lamp tube. The advantages of the fluorescent lamp include: (1) best lamp working temperature can be adjusted within a wider range; (2) mercury-vapor pressure inside lamp tube can be adjusted to provide a stabilize working state; and (3) the cathode can be rapidly started, thus overcoming the slow starting problem of existing fluorescent lamps with amalgam.

  • Publication number: 20050264159
Abstract: The present invention provides a long afterglow lamp that comprises a lamp body, characterized in that a light penetrating long afterglow rubber sheath is sleeved outside the body. The present invention is simple in structure thus greatly facilitating the manufacturing process. Ultraviolet light or visible light from the light source of the lamp body is absorbed by the long afterglow fluorescent powder in the long afterglow fluorescent rubber sheath. When the lamp body turns off, the long afterglow fluorescent powder in the long afterglow fluorescent rubber sheath can still keep glowing for a period of time, to provide an illuminating or indicating function.

  • Publication number: 20050200285
Abstract: This present invention relates to an all-rounded illumination enveloped fluorescent lamp. The light translucent materials used for lamp carrier disk fixing lamp tube, segregation board segregating wires, ballast circuit board and rear housing enables light emitted by the lamp tube to penetrate through the rear housing via the lamp carrier disk, segregation board and circuit board, thus causing the whole lamp body to illuminate as the lamp is turned on. Furthermore, the rear housing, which is made of PC plastic with proper amount of colour powder added, provides good light transmission property but is not transparent, thus shielding the ballast so that the appearance of lamp is beautiful. No darkness zone is formed when in use. The lamp thus provides an advantageous aesthetic quality and illumination effect.
