Publication number: 20250169857Abstract: A guide device is provided for fixation of a fractured phalange by insertion of a k-wire. The guide device includes a distal part (610, 810, 1010) having a first opening at a proximal end of the distal part (610, 810, 1010) for inserting at least a portion of the fractured phalange into a tubular section of the distal part (610, 810, 1010). A pin guide (605, 845) is fixedly connected to the distal end of the distal part (610, 810, 1010), and has a diameter which is greater than the diameter of the k-wire. The pin guide (605, 845) is shaped so as to define an elongate cylindrical guide passage (1047) therethrough that is configured to align the k-wire with the portion of the fractured phalange during the insertion of the k-wire into the portion of the fractured phalange while the portion of the fractured phalange is held in place within the tubular section of the distal part (610, 810, 1010). Other embodiments are also described.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 23, 2023Publication date: May 29, 2025Applicant: RAMBAM MEDTECH LTD.Inventors: Ruth LUTTWAK, Ophir MARKO
