  • Publication number: 20200170793
Abstract: A handle for a prosthetic heart valve delivery apparatus includes a housing, a motorized mechanism, and a holding mechanism. The housing is configured to be hand-held by a user and includes a distal opening. The motorized mechanism is disposed within the housing and is configured to be releasably coupled to a proximal end portion of a first shaft of the prosthetic heart valve delivery apparatus. When actuated, the motorized mechanism is configured to rotate the first shaft relative to the housing. The holding mechanism is disposed inside the housing and is configured to engage a proximal end portion of a second shaft of the prosthetic heart valve delivery apparatus such that the second shaft is axially and rotationally fixed relative to the housing, and the first shaft extends through the second shaft.

  • Publication number: 20200175655
Abstract: A method and a system for reconstructing obstructed face portions are provided herein. The method may include the following steps: obtaining off-line 3D data, being 3D data of a head of a person not wearing a face-obstructing object, being an object which obstructs a portion of the face of the person; obtaining in real time, real-time 3D data, being 3D data of said head, wherein said person wears said face-obstructing object; applying a 3D transformation to at least a portion of the off-line 3D data, based on the real-time 3D data, to yield reconstructed real time 3D data, being real-time 3D data related to the obstructed face portions; and merging the reconstructed real time 3D data into the real-time 3D data. The system may implement the aforementioned steps over a computer processor.

  • Patent number: 10673615
Abstract: In one embodiment, data for use by a processor is stored in a memory. A network interface communicates over a network with a second device. At a processor, a Somewhat Homomorphic Encryption (SHE) of a plurality of secret shares is generated. The SHE of the plurality of secret shares is sent to the second device. The following is performed in a loop: a first result of a homomorphic exclusive-or operation performed by the second device on the SHE is received, a SHE of the first result is performed, yielding a second result, a SHE of the second result is performed yielding a third result, the third result is transmitted to the second device, and a final SHE result is received from the second device. The received final SHE result is decrypted in order to produce a final Somewhat Homomorphically Decrypted (SHD) output. The final SHD output is then output. Related methods, systems, and apparatus are also described.

  • Patent number: 10667913
Abstract: Tissue ingrowth on the distal loop portion of a constricting cord can dramatically improve the bond between the constricting cord and a cardiac valve annulus. But tissue ingrowth on the proximal portions of the constricting cord can interfere with the constricting action of the cord. This problem can be addressed by covering the proximal portions of the constricting cord with a material that resists tissue ingrowth, and waiting for tissue ingrowth to strengthen the bond between the distal loop portion of the constricting cord and the annulus. The reduced ingrowth on the proximal portions of the constricting cord make it easier to constrict the annulus when the constricting operation is eventually performed.

  • Publication number: 20200163769
Abstract: Dislodgment of a constricting cord from an annulus can be prevented by delivering the distal loop portion of the constricting cord to the annulus using a percutaneous delivery tool, and launching anchors into the annulus so as to affix the distal loop portion of the constricting cord to the annulus. The percutaneous delivery tool is withdrawn in a proximal direction after the anchors have been launched. A pushing member is pressed in a distal direction so that the pushing member holds a portion of the constricting cord against the annulus with enough pressure to prevent dislodgment of any of the anchors during the withdrawal of the percutaneous delivery tool.

  • Publication number: 20200163677
Abstract: A non-occlusive blood-restricting device is provided for treating a vascular malformation. The blood-restricting device includes a first section configured to assume a first shape when deployed from a microcatheter within a portion of the vascular malformation so as to at least partially cover an orifice of the vascular malformation, the portion of the vascular malformation including one or more anatomical features selected from the group consisting of: a neck of the vascular malformation and a wall of the vascular malformation. The first shape defines a sequence of loops having a gradually decreasing diameter and coaxial around a first central axis. The blood-restricting device also includes a second section configured to assume a second shape when deployed from the microcatheter. The second shape defines a single loop around a second central axis when the blood-restricting device is not restrained. Other embodiments are also described.

  • Patent number: 10664892
Abstract: A platform allows experts, for example home improvement professionals, to upload their portfolios, i.e. content such as photos, videos, text, and sound, to a publicly available resource, such as a Web browser accessible, network based commerce system. Users may then browse the content, for example by room, style, and metro area. The content is arranged in collections that are in part passively sorted, based upon user relevance. Tags are shown on objects, for example within photos, for which there is more information. In the case of a movable display device, the tags can simulate the physics of real tags, for example they can move back and forth when the device is shaken. In another embodiment, a snap point is set to impart either a scrolling transition or a step transition between display pages, based upon user scroll activity.

  • Patent number: 10660706
Abstract: Dental implantation systems and methods are provided, including a site preparation device for preparing a site within a patient's mouth for receiving an anchor portion of a dental implant. An implant preparation device forms a crown portion of the dental implant for reception by the anchor portion. A guidance device communicates with a fiducial marker engaged with the patient's mouth, to interchangeably receive the site and implant preparation devices, and to guide the site and/or implant preparation device, relative to the fiducial marker, in conjunction with manipulation thereof by a user. A planning device communicates with and via the guidance device, and determines an arrangement of the dental implant at the site, to direct the site preparation device to prepare the site to receive the dental implant arrangement, and to direct the implant preparation device to prepare the crown portion for receipt by the anchor portion.

  • Publication number: 20200158781
Abstract: A method for performing verification and testing of a device under test (DUT) is described. The method includes receiving, by a processing device, inputs from a user regarding a hardware design for the DUT. The processing device presents cover group attribute suggestions to the user based on the hardware design and receives cover group information from the user corresponding to one or more cover group attributes of one or more cover groups based on the cover group attribute suggestions. Based on the cover group information, the processing device automatically generates verification code, including one or more cover group definitions.

  • Publication number: 20200159465
Abstract: A data storage device includes a non-volatile memory and a controller coupled to the non-volatile memory. The controller is operable to measure a first threshold voltage (Vt) of a memory cell under a first parameter at a read temperature and measure a second Vt of the memory cell under a second parameter at the read temperature in which the first parameter is different from the second parameter. A Vt correction term for the memory cell is determined based upon the first Vt measurement and the second Vt measurement. A read Vt of the memory cell is adjusted by using the Vt correction term.

  • Publication number: 20200162508
Abstract: A method of providing infrastructure protection for a network that includes IP addresses as low as a single IP address. An end user sends traffic to an IP address of a projected server publicly available as an anycast address, and sends traffic to the protected network. The traffic is routed via one of several scrubbing centers using the public IP address as anycast address, and the scrubbing center provides infrastructure protection by scanning and filtering the incoming traffic for illegitimate data. After filtering, the legitimate traffic is encapsulated, e.g., via including virtual GRE tunnel information that includes a secret IP address known only to the scrubbing center and the protected server that receives the network traffic. The protected server decapsulates the network packet and responds back to the end user via the scrubbing network.
