The LDS can be used both as an optical time domain reflectometer (OTDR) or as an optical return loss (ORL) meter and can automate the diagnosis of the fiber optical network fiber insertion loss and return loss.

    Abstract: Systems and techniques of the present disclosure may access data from a time-of-flight (TOF) sensor of an autonomous vehicle (AV). The TOF sensor may have light signals and received reflections of those transmitted signals such that a set of simulation data can be generated. This set of simulation data may identify a distance to associate with an object that is different from a calibration distance. Equations may be used to identify a light signal amplitude, a signal to noise ratio (SNR), and a range inaccuracy due to noise from the accessed data. The identified the light signal amplitude, the SNR, and the range inaccuracy due to noise may have been identified using equations. Once the set of simulation data is generated, it may be saved for later access by a processor executing a simulation program used to train devices used to control the driving of an AV.

    Abstract: An oximeter device has an ergonomically shaped enclosure that allows a user to comfortably grip and use the device during handheld operation. A sensor tip can be easily placed evenly on the tissue surface, so that all sources and detectors are directly on the tissue with even pressure. This allows for more consistent and accurate results. The user can easily move the device from one position to another and take numerous measurements. The user will have a wide, unobstructed view of the tissue because of the tip's small size, angle of display, and the grip and fingers are positioned away from the tip. Components housed by the enclosure are arranged to give the device a balanced weighting while in the hand. The device can be used for long periods at a time without fatigue.

    Abstract: A digital security system can store data associated with entities in resolver trees. If the digital security system determines that two resolver trees are likely representing the same entity, the digital security system can use a merge operation to merge the resolver trees into a single resolver tree that represents the entity. The single resolver tree can include a merge node indicating a merge identifier of the merge operation. Nodes containing information merged into the resolver tree from another resolver tree during the merge operation can be tagged with the corresponding merge identifier. Accordingly, if the merge operation is to be undone, for instance if subsequent information indicates that the entries are likely separate entities, the resolver tree can be unmerged and the nodes tagged with the merge identifier can be restored to a separate resolver tree.
