  • Patent number: 12002105
Abstract: A computer implemented method for determining a primary movement window from a vehicle trip is presented. A client computing device may be placed in a vehicle, be free to move with respect to movement of the vehicle, and include an accelerometer. A computer network may receive a plurality of telematics data originating from the client computing device. One or more processors may select one or more data points from the telematics data, and determine that a total spectral power of the selected data points meets a threshold value. The one or more processors may identify a primary movement window including the selected data points if the total spectral power of the selected data points does not meet the threshold value.

  • Patent number: 12001282
Abstract: In described examples, a processor system includes a processor core that generates memory write requests, and a cache memory with a memory controller having a memory pipeline. The cache memory has cache lines of length L. The cache memory has a minimum write length that is less than a cache line length of the cache memory. The memory pipeline determines whether the data payload includes a first chunk and ECC syndrome that correspond to a partial write and are writable by a first cache write operation, and a second chunk and ECC syndrome that correspond to a full write operation that can be performed separately from the first cache write operation. The memory pipeline performs an RMW operation to store the first chunk and ECC syndrome in the cache memory, and performs the full write operation to store the second chunk and ECC syndrome in the cache memory.

The system includes sensors configured to generate output signals conveying information related to the vehicles and/or the surroundings of vehicles. The system includes a remote computing server configured to maintain map data and distribute it to the fleet, including local map data to individual vehicles pertaining to their surroundings. Individual vehicles may compare the local map data with the information related to their individual surroundings. Based on such comparisons, individual vehicles may detect discrepancies between the local map data and the information related to their individual surroundings. The remote computing server may modify and/or update the map data based on the detected discrepancies.

  • Patent number: 12001658
Abstract: Content sharing between a first user, a second user, and a third user is facilitated. A first public content collection includes a first input content item of a first user. Responsive to receiving an indication of a combination user input from a second user, a combination function is invoked to allow the second user to combine the first user input content item with a second user input content item to create a first combined user input content item. The first combined user input content item is stored in association with the first user input content item in a second public content collection. A third user sends a combination collection presentation user input related to the first user input content item. In response, a combination collection presentation function is invoked to enable the third user to navigate the second public content collection.

  • Patent number: 12000219
Abstract: A method of making-up tubular string components can include inputting to an image processor image data output from at least one camera, the image processor in response detecting positions of a tubular and a mark on another tubular, threading the tubulars with each other while inputting position data from the image processor to a controller, and the controller terminating the threading in response to the position of the mark relative to the position of the first tubular being within a predetermined range. Another method of making-up tubular string components can include, in response to inputting image data to an image processor, the image processor detecting longitudinal positions of two tubulars, threading the tubulars with each other, and a controller terminating the threading in response to the longitudinal position of one tubular relative to the longitudinal position of the other tubular being within a predetermined range.

  • Patent number: 12001260
Abstract: A speech-processing system may provide access to one or more virtual assistants via a voice-controlled device. The system may be activated by detecting a wakeword in speech received by a microphone of the device. The system may process the speech and provide a response in the form of synthetic speech. When a speaker of the device synthetic emits the speech, the microphone may detect some or all of the speech. If the synthetic speech includes a wakeword or words or phrases similar to the wakeword, a wakeword detection component of the device may detect the wakeword and activate an assistant, resulting in a self-wake or cross-wake. Self- or cross-wake may interrupt an action or response currently in progress, which may frustrate the user and result in a poor user experience. This disclosure thus proposes systems and methods for preventing cross-wake and self-wake in a voice-controlled device.

  • Patent number: 12002232
Abstract: Various embodiments provide systems, methods, devices, and instructions for performing simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) that involve initializing a SLAM process using images from as few as two different poses of a camera within a physical environment. Some embodiments may achieve this by disregarding errors in matching corresponding features depicted in image frames captured by an image sensor of a mobile computing device, and by updating the SLAM process in a way that causes the minimization process to converge to global minima rather than fall into a local minimum.

  • Patent number: 12003473
Abstract: A notification center system receives a message from a message source, the message comprising a message body, the message body comprising parameter-value pairs. The notification center system processes the message body to obtain a contextual string from the parameter-value pairs, appends a source identifier to the message, the source identifier identifying the message source, and stores the message appended with the source identifier in a platform-neutral format in a message store. Utilizing the contextual string, the message is then grouped, with other message(s) or by itself, with a message thread. The message is provided to a delivery mechanism for presentation of the message under the message thread. Content-aware contextual visual indicators may be determined for the message thread and the message based on different orders of specificity. The message thread and the message can then be displayed with their corresponding content-aware contextual visual indicators to provide additional insights.
