Abstract: An automated weapon system is comprised of a human transported weapon comprising a barrel and munitions; sensing means; targeting means; computational logic for determining where to aim the human transported weapon; aim computational logic; firing activation means; and, firing means, The munitions can be aimed towards a targeting area to be propelled through the barrel. The sensing means senses which of up to a plurality of targets are within firing range of the automated weapon system. The targeting means selects a selected target from the targets in the targeting area that are, within the firing range, responsive to the sensing. The computational logic determines where to aim the human transported weapon so that the munitions will hit the selected target if fired at a firing time. The aim computational logic adjusts the aim of the munitions through the human transported weapon, to compensate as needed for where the selected target is at the firing time, responsive to the determining where to aim.

Abstract: A two-part plug assembly is disclosed for a drip-proof spout on an aseptic flexible container for flowable materials. The two-part plug assembly may include a plug and a plug insert, wherein the plug insert may include a flow inhibitor such as a baffle or valve. In a first step, the plug assembly is removably placed in a first position on a spout prior to aseptic filling. During filling, the plug assembly is removed. After filling, the plug insert assembly is replaced in a second position further down the spout wherein the plug insert fixedly engages the spout. When fixedly engaged to the spout, the plug insert remains inside the spout when the plug is removed prior to a user dispensing the flowable material. Abstract: Disclosed are methods, and compositions useful for stimulation of immunity towards cancer by utilizing dendritic cells and products therefrom that have been stimulated and/or incorporated mRNA encoding survivin and/or related gene sequences, defined herein as “survivin modified mRNA”. In one embodiment dendritic cells generated from allogeneic “off the shelf” sources are transfected with survivin modified mRNA and the cells are administered in an immunogenic manner. In some embodiments transfected dendritic cells are induced to undergo immunogenic cell death ex vivo subsequently to which they are used as immunogenic stimuli. In other embodiments preparation of the injection site is performed prior to administration of dendritic cells that have been transfected with survivin modified mRNA by pre-administration of agents increasing the number of local dendritic cells in the skin.
