    Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for a UE to manage and measure intra-cell cross link interference (CLI) when served by a base station operating in full-duplex FDD. The signaling may indicate to a victim UE resources to measure to determine the level of CLI from aggressor UEs. The resources used for the CLI measurement may be resources not scheduled by the base station for use by the victim UE for downlink reception, but are scheduled for use by the aggressor UEs for transmitting uplink traffic or for transmitting reference signals used to characterize the uplink channel. The victim UE may report the CLI measurements to the base station for the base station to adjust scheduling of downlink resources to the victim UE. In one aspect, the signaling from the base station may indicate to the victim UE the locations of scheduled downlink symbols that may potentially be impacted by CLI.

    Abstract: Techniques are provided for implementing garbage collection and bin synchronization for a distributed storage architecture of worker nodes managing distributed storage composed of bins of blocks. As the distributed storage architecture scales out to accommodate more storage and worker nodes, garbage collection used to free unused blocks becomes unmanageable and slow. Accordingly garbage collection is improved by utilizing heuristics to dynamically speed up or down garbage collection and set sizes for subsets of a bin to process instead of the entire bin. This ensures that garbage collection does not use stale information about what blocks are in-use, and ensures garbage collection does not unduly impact client I/O processing or conversely falls behind on garbage collection. Garbage collection can be incorporated into a bin sync process to improve the efficiency of the bin sync process so that unused blocks are not needlessly copied by the bin sync process.

    Abstract: A strong-robustness method for extracting early degradation features of signals and monitoring an operational status of a device is provided. Acquired vibration signal data of a rotating mechanical device is grouped at equal time intervals in a chronological order. Compression conversion is performed on the data, a newly defined function is solved, thereby a performance degradation index of the device is obtained. Data of the device in a normal status is obtained by determining an overall trend of an Exponentially Weighted Moving Average (EWMA) statistic, and a control limit for the EWMA statistic is constructed by using the data in the normal status. The calculated performance degradation index of the device is converted into an EWMA statistic, and the EWMA statistic is compared with the control limit. If the EWMA statistic does not fluctuate about a center line or exceeds the control limit, a monitored state is out of control.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a technique for parallel distribution matching (DM) encoding. A user equipment (UE) implements the technique to perform a first round of parallel DM encoding using k information bits as input by: 1) segmenting the k information bits into N blocks of information bits, and 2) encoding the N blocks of information bits in parallel with N DM blocks. Each of the N blocks outputs one or more encoded information bits in each of the NDM blocks, and a total number of information bits output by the N DM blocks is less than k. The UE then performs a second round of parallel DM encoding using k? information bits that were not encoded in the first round of DM encoding. The second round of parallel DM encoding includes a same encoding process as implemented in the first round of parallel DC encoding.
