  • Publication number: 20090318875
Abstract: Some embodiments of a nasal implant delivery system may provide minimally invasive insertion of one or more implants in suitable tissue planes of the nasal rim, the lateral nasal wall, or both. Such a delivery system may be minimally invasive in that it does not require a surgical intervention or an incision that cuts a portion of the nasal tissue. Rather, in some embodiments, the nasal implant delivery system may include a needle or other cannula device having a curvature at the distal portion adapted to penetrate into a targeted tissue plane in the nasal rim, the lateral nasal wall, the nasal septum, or the columella. Also, some embodiments of a delivery system can be used to apply a nasal rigidity supplement to internal or external portions of the nasal rim, the lateral nasal wall, or other nasal structures.
