  • Publication number: 20160353470
Abstract: In some embodiments, one or more wireless stations operate according to Neighbor Awareness Networking (NAN)—direct communication with neighboring wireless stations, e.g., direct communication between the wireless stations without utilizing an intermediate access point. Embodiments of the disclosure relate to NAN datapath scheduling and NAN pre-datapath operation setup and scheduling. The NAN datapath embodiments described herein provide a mechanism through which devices can communicate and provide services. Aspects of the datapath development include datapath scheduling, including datapath setup and scheduling attributes, as well as pre-datapath operation triggering and scheduling. Scheduling attributes may include a native scheduler rank and a NAN data cluster scheduler rank. NAN data cluster base schedules may be scheduled as equal-sets or subsets of datapath schedules. The datapath model may be implemented for unicast and multicast communication between wireless stations, including mobile stations.

  • Publication number: 20160309315
Abstract: In some embodiments, one or more wireless stations operate according to Neighbor Awareness Networking (NAN)—direct communication with neighboring wireless stations, e.g., direct communication between the wireless stations without utilizing an intermediate access point. In a NAN system, multiple NAN devices may operate in conjunction in the form of a NAN cluster to facilitate communications processes, and may be further organized into “NAN data clusters” within NAN clusters. NAN data clusters may use a common base channel to convey communications among member NAN devices. Embodiments herein provide mechanism by which a base channel may be determined, modified, and/or distributed among NAN devices operating in a NAN data cluster.

Abstract: In some embodiments, one or more wireless stations operate according to Neighbor Awareness Networking (NAN)—direct communication with neighboring wireless stations, e.g., direct communication between the wireless stations without utilizing an intermediate access point. In a NAN system, multiple NAN devices may operate with one another in the form of a NAN cluster to facilitate communications processes. Some embodiments of the disclosure relate to systems and methods for one or more wireless device (e.g., NAN devices) to transition into a cluster (e.g., a NAN cluster). In particular, wireless devices may be further organized into a data cluster (e.g., a NAN data cluster) within a cluster, which may be usable to facilitate the transitioning of a group of connected wireless devices (e.g., data clusters) between clusters.

  • Publication number: 20160278112
Abstract: In some embodiments, one or more wireless stations operate to configure Neighbor Awareness Networking (NAN)—direct communication between neighboring wireless stations, e.g., without utilizing an intermediate access point. Embodiments of the disclosure relate to NAN datapath configuration. The NAN datapath embodiments described herein provide a mechanism through which devices can communicate and provide services. Aspects of the datapath development include datapath scheduling, including datapath setup and scheduling attributes, scheduler rank management, and further NAN discovery. The datapath model may be implemented for unicast and multicast communication between wireless stations.

  • Publication number: 20160262120
Abstract: A circuit includes a processor to store a beacon timestamp generated from a wireless network. An output port controlled by the processor causes an interrupt that initiates a capture of a link layer timestamp relative to the beacon timestamp. An input port on the processor receives the link layer time stamp. A synchronizer captures a processor timestamp relative to the beacon timestamp and determines a time offset value relative to the received link layer time stamp by computing a difference between the processor timestamp and the link layer timestamp. The time offset value is combined with the processor timestamp to synchronize the processor with respect to the beacon timestamp.

  • Publication number: 20160165653
Abstract: In one set of embodiments, one or more client stations operate to configure Neighbor Awareness Networking (NAN)—direct communication with neighboring client stations, i.e., direct communication between the client stations without utilizing an intermediate access point. Scheduling may include determination of a type of datapath, including paging and synchronized datapaths. NAN data cluster base schedules may be scheduled as equal-sets or subsets of datapath schedules. The datapath model may be implemented for unicast and multicast communication between client stations.

  • Publication number: 20160021220
Abstract: Systems and methods for Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) acknowledgement (ACK) packet suppression are described. In various implementations, these systems and methods may be applicable to low-power communications. For example, a method may include receive an incoming TCP packet at a TCP layer implemented by the communication system; de-encapsulating the incoming TCP packet using a TCP protocol to identify an incoming Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) or Transport Layer Security (TLS) packet; passing the incoming SSL or TLS packet from the TCP layer to an SSL or TLS layer; and signaling, by the SSL or TLS layer to the TCP layer in response to the SSL or TLS layer having received the incoming SSL or TLS packet, that a TCP acknowledgement be suppressed by the TCP layer.

  • Publication number: 20100107247
Abstract: A system and method for identifying websites' defacement attacks by identifying of unauthorized network content pages or parts of pages that are defined as defaced-pages. The application may enable identifying defacing parts of a network content page by comparing the source code of the network content page with the source code of reference defaced-pages, which may be network content pages that were already identified as unauthorized defaced-pages and their source codes have already been stored in at least one database. Once a defacing-page is identified, the system may enable removing of the defacing-page and replacing it with the last corresponding network content page that has preceded the defacing one.

  • Publication number: 20080304805
Abstract: A method and system for preparing a video advertising insertion clip that utilizes an existing video presentation that currently features and/or will feature virtual product placement. The advertising insertion clip is obtained with minimal additional production resources and overhead in conjunction with a virtual product placement process. By the use of scripts, metadata, and/or equivalent machine-readable instructions or commands, the process can be configured to automatically generate insertion clips for video presentations that are repurposed and/or to be repurposed.
