    Abstract: A belt (100) is described for a conveyor, in particular for conveying molded items of plastic material leaving a molding unit. Said belt comprises a plurality of transverse plates or tracks (1) disposed side by side and constrained hingedly to each other to form an endless belt, wherein some (10) of said transverse plates have transverse tongues (50) which protrude substantially at right angles to the plane of the transverse plates (10), the transverse tongues (50) being made from soft, rubber-based material to avoid deformation of the molded items which fall thereon.
