Patent number: 11709941Abstract: A modified measured boot approach is utilized for establishing a secure communication link between two devices. Each device may execute a respective boot process until the device reaches the stage responsible for establishing the communication link with the other device. Each device may exchange its respective self-signed certificate and extend its certificate chain with the self-signed certificate received from the other device. Each device can then generate a new pair of keys based on its extended certificate chain that includes the identity of the other device, and exchange the public key of the new key pair with the other device. A secure link can be established using the public key of the other device as a based key for a key exchange protocol. A central management entity can attest the measurements of the boot stages for each device using the corresponding public key.Type: GrantFiled: June 30, 2021Date of Patent: July 25, 2023Assignee: Amazon Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Ori Cohen, Barak Wasserstrom, Andrew Robert Sinton

Patent number: 11544436Abstract: Hardware-software interaction testing is performed using formal verification for language-specified hardware designs. A description of valid access using an interface for a configuration space of a language specified hardware design and a description of a valid output of the language-specified hardware design is received. Formal verification is performed on the language-specified hardware design using the interface for the configuration space according to the description of valid access using the interface. A sequence of access to the configuration space using the interface that causes a failure to produce the valid output of the language-specified hardware design according to the description of valid output to identify as an error for the language-specified hardware design.Type: GrantFiled: June 21, 2021Date of Patent: January 3, 2023Assignee: Amazon Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Uri Leder, Ori Cohen, Benzi Denkberg, Max Chvalevsky

Publication number: 20210322698Abstract: A system and method for ventilating includes a holding tank, such as, for example, a medical sealed apparatus, for storing of gases. The holding tank stores at least pressured oxygen, for example O2, though the holding tank may store a pressurized blend of oxygen and air. This blend may include a 50-50 mix of oxygen and air. The pressure applied to the gases in the holding tank may include a range from 5 pounds force per square inch to 20 pounds force per square inch. The blend of oxygen and air, for example, under pressure in the holding tank, the system and method for ventilating of the present disclosure no longer requires an electronic mechanical system, such as, for example, a pump or motor on the inhalation control and the exhalation control to the ventilating system and method.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 19, 2021Publication date: October 21, 2021Applicant: Orics Industries, Inc.Inventors: Ori Cohen, Isaac Cohen, Carlos Milla

Publication number: 20190293572Abstract: A computerized method for generating a two-dimensional fog map of a region from a near-ground sensors network of commercial microwave links (CMLs), the region is virtually segmented to a grid of multiple pixels, the method comprises: collecting received signals levels from the CMLs, deriving the links' attenuation that are spread within multiple pixels of the region; calculating the fog induced attenuation attribute for each pixel out of a plurality of pixels of the region based on the microwave attenuation information and deciding if exists; wherein the plurality of pixels belong to the multiple pixels; and generating the two-dimensional fog map of the region based, at least in part, on the plurality of microwave attenuation attributes and the topography of the region; improving the 2-D fog map using information from other types of sensors, if exist.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 20, 2018Publication date: September 26, 2019Inventors: Noam DAVID, Ori Cohen, Pinhas Alpert, Hagit Messer-Yaron

Publication number: 20160070155Abstract: An image capture device case including a cover and a cover insert is disclosed. The cover includes a cover panel and a sidewall extending from the cover panel to form an insert opening to receive the cover insert. The image capture device case also includes an extension moveable between a collapsed configuration and an extended configuration. The extension includes a first segment rotatably coupled to the cover; a second segment slidably coupled to the first segment, wherein the first segment is sized to fit within the second segment; a third segment slidably coupled to the second segment, wherein the second segment is sized to fit within the third segment; and a handle disposed on the third segment. A recessed region is formed in the cover panel to receive the extension when in the collapsed configuration. A torque mechanism is coupled between the cover and the first segment to resist rotation therebetween.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 9, 2015Publication date: March 10, 2016Inventors: Shahar Alster, Ori Cohen

Publication number: 20160070156Abstract: An image capture device case comprising a cover and a collapsible extension coupled to the cover. The cover comprises a cover panel, a surrounding sidewall extending from the cover panel to form a device opening to receive an image capture device, and a recessed region formed in the cover panel opposite the device opening. The extension comprises first, second, and third segments. The first segment includes a first relief and is rotatably coupled to the cover adjacent the recessed region, wherein the first segment is sized to fit at least partially within the recessed region. The second segment is rotatably coupled to the first segment and includes a second relief, wherein the second segment is sized to fit at least partially within the first relief. The third segment is rotatably coupled to the second segment, wherein the third segment is sized to fit at least partially within the second relief.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 9, 2015Publication date: March 10, 2016Inventors: Shahar Alster, Ori Cohen

Patent number: 7263558Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed for providing additional information, such as advertisements, to a client device via the response signal to an application (or web) server request. A client device is in communication with a server device, and sends a request for information to the server via a network connection. A device is associated with the network connection that detects and analyzes the signals being exchanged. The device would likely be associated with a point-of-presence to an Internet connection, for an ISP or the like. The associated device sends an appropriately timed reset signal to the server device that prevents the server device from further responding to signals subsequently received from the client device. The associated device sends, in response to the web server request, a response signal to the client device. The response signal provides additional information, along with the originally requested web server material.Type: GrantFiled: September 15, 1999Date of Patent: August 28, 2007Assignee: Narus, Inc.Inventors: Stanislav Khirman, Mark Ronald Stone, Oren Arial, Ori Cohen
