Patent number: 12244156Abstract: A system for ensuring the integrity of the enclosure of a wireless power transmitter. The enclosure of the transmitter comprises a window in order to allow a high-power beam to exit the transmitter. The window is equipped with an area which reflects at least a portion of the beam, and directs the reflected beam onto a detector. Thus the system can ascertain whether the window is undamaged, since if the detector is receiving a satisfactory portion of the beam, then it is indicative of an undamaged window. This advantageously prevents dangerous beam generated damage which may be caused if the exit window of the transmitter is damaged. The laser beam is preferably circularly polarized before exiting the transmitter to prevent dangerous laser damage caused by the reflections of the maximum of the P or S polarization components, which may occur with linearly polarized beams.Type: GrantFiled: January 17, 2020Date of Patent: March 4, 2025Assignee: Wi-Charge Ltd.Inventors: Ortal Alpert, Yoav Biderman, Ori Mor, Omer Nahmias, Lior Golan, Ran Sagi, Zohar Levin, Alexander Slepoy, Yan Rosh, Eyal Conforti

Patent number: 12232850Abstract: Disclosed herein is a doorway that facilitates passage from an inside to an outside, and which includes a barrier that moves between opened and closed positions based on commands sent by a computer. Sensors measure signals indicating whether a first user is on the outside, and whether a second user on the inside. The computer detects that the first user is on the outside and receives, from a device of the first user, an indication indicating the first user is healthy. The computer detects whether the second user is on the inside, and commands the barrier to move to the opened position if: (i) the second user is not on the inside, or (ii) the second user is on the inside and the computer receives, from a device of the second user, an indication indicating the second user is healthy.Type: GrantFiled: May 13, 2021Date of Patent: February 25, 2025Assignee: Facense Ltd.Inventors: Ari M Frank, Arie Tzvieli, Ori Tzvieli, Gil Thieberger

Publication number: 20250054722Abstract: An ion source with a target holder for holding a solid dopant material is disclosed. The target holder is mounted to a shaft, which may be in communication with an actuator, which allows the solid dopant material to be inserted and retracted from the arc chamber. The shaft and/or the target holder is actively cooled such that the solid dopant material remains below its melting point. In this way, the solid dopant material may be inserted into the arc chamber without any melting. The cooling mechanisms used may include gas cooling, liquid cooling, thermoelectric cooling or other cooling techniques.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 9, 2023Publication date: February 13, 2025Inventor: Ori Noked

Patent number: 12223274Abstract: A relational similarity determination engine receives as input a dataset including a set of entities and co-occurrence data that defines co-occurrence relations for pairs of the entities. The relational similarity determination engine also receives as input side information defining explicit relations between the entities. The relational similarity determination engine jointly models the co-occurrence relations and the explicit relations for the entities to compute a similarity metric for each different pair of entities within the dataset. Based on the computed similarity metrics, the relational similarity determination engine identifies a most similar replacement entity from the dataset for each of the entities within the dataset. For a select entity received as an input, the relational similarity determination engine outputs the identified most similar replacement entity.Type: GrantFiled: October 29, 2021Date of Patent: February 11, 2025Assignee: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Oren Barkan, Avi Caciularu, Idan Rejwan, Yonathan Weill, Noam Koenigstein, Ori Katz, Itzik Malkiel, Nir Nice

Patent number: 12223052Abstract: A boot process for a computing device, such as integrated circuit, includes security features that are inaccessible during certain operation modes. An image including permission to access those security features is received during the boot process and may be verified using one or more keys. In operation, access to the security features is permitted during the operation modes after the image is verified. Such an approach enables a boot process to permit access to certain features after receipt and verification of different images.Type: GrantFiled: March 15, 2022Date of Patent: February 11, 2025Assignee: Amazon Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Barak Wasserstrom, Ori Cohen, Andrew Robert Sinton

Patent number: 12224149Abstract: An ion source for generating an ion beam containing aluminum ions is disclosed. The ion source includes a first gas source to introduce an organoaluminium compound into the arc chamber of the ion source. A second gas, different from the first gas, which is a chlorine-containing gas is also introduced to the arc chamber. The chloride co-flow reduces the buildup of decomposition material that occurs within the arc chamber. This buildup may occur at the gas bushing, the extraction aperture or near the repeller. In some embodiments, the second gas is introduced continuously. In other embodiments, the second gas is periodically introduced, based on hours of operation or the measured uniformity of the extracted ion beam. The second gas may be introduced from second gas source or from a vaporizer.Type: GrantFiled: January 20, 2023Date of Patent: February 11, 2025Assignee: Applied Materials, Inc.Inventors: Mateo Navarro Goldaraz, Graham Wright, Ori Noked

Publication number: 20250046361Abstract: A method comprises receiving a read instruction and determining a read address in computer memory corresponding to the read instruction, where the read address references a cell within a row of read-destructive computer memory. The method further comprises determining a discard state for data stored in the row according to a usage of the data, the discard state being positive for data to be read only once and negative for data to be read more than once. The data is read from the row and written back to the row if the discard state is negative. If the discard state is positive, then the method returns without writing the data back to the row.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 25, 2022Publication date: February 6, 2025Applicant: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Ori LASLO, Gilad KIRSHENBOIM

Patent number: 12217004Abstract: A system for stable and streamlined transaction approval includes a rule management server and an authorizer server. The rule management server is configured to receive a transaction rule that includes a list of named entities specified by a client. The rule management server stores past transaction data and analyzes patterns in the past data to determine a named entity identification rule. The authorizer server receives a transaction data payload related to a pending transaction associated with the client and identifies a noisy data field in the transaction data payload. The noisy data field includes a representation of a particular named entity and one or more irrelevant strings. The authorizer server parses the particular named entity based on the named entity identification rule and determines whether the particular named entity is one of the named entities in the list. The authorizer server conducts a transaction evaluation using the result.Type: GrantFiled: June 17, 2021Date of Patent: February 4, 2025Assignee: Ramp Business CorporationInventors: Calvin Jun-Gong Lee, Veeral Dilip Patel, Paul Alexander Meier, Karim Atiyeh, Ariel Petren Langer, Ori Ephraim Goldfield, Geoffrey Jacques Charles
