  • Patent number: 12293844
Abstract: Due to the many interactions that can occur in places of gatherings, such as workplaces, schools, theaters, etc., these locations can be considered dangerous to enter during times of epidemics. It is difficult to keep track of the health state of all the people who visited a location, and thus ascertain if visits to the location pose any risk of contracting a disease. Some embodiments disclosed herein utilize wearable devices that measure physiological signals of their wearer in order to determine whether people who were at a location were healthy, and thus be able to certify the location as contagion-safe.

  • Publication number: 20250125661
Abstract: Methods and systems for safely and effectively supplying a beam of wireless power from a transmitter to at least one receiver. A delta signal is generated by repeatedly calculating the difference in power between the power of the beam emitted by the transmitter and the amount of power received at the receiver. The system dynamically generates a time delay, which is a time period shorter than the maximal exposure duration relating to safe exposure durations for the power level of the delta signal. If the time delay is exceeded, the system changes an operational parameter of the system, such as terminating the beam. Because of limitations to building a perfect timing system, the system is built to be more sensitive to time delays having longer safe exposure durations, with large delta signals having short safe exposure durations being responded to immediately and without significant regard to the time delay.

  • Publication number: 20250117578
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer storage media for providing compute management using a compute management engine in an artificial intelligence (AI) system. A compute management engine supports dynamically switching between two modes of operation for an inference phase of a generative artificial AI model. The compute management engine employs a bypass engine that causes prompt stage operations to be executed without an in-memory compute engine and causes auto-regression stage operations to be executed with the in-memory compute engine. In operation, an inference phase operation is accessed. When the inference phase operation is a prompt stage operation, the inference phase operation is executed without an in-memory compute engine. When the inference phase operation is an auto-regressive stage operation, the inference phase operation is executed with the in-memory compute engine.

  • Publication number: 20250116597
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method for non-destructive depth-profiling including projecting a pulsed pump beam into a specimen, projecting a pulsed probe beam thereinto, and sensing light returned therefrom to obtain a measured signal. Each probe pulse is configured to undergo Brillouin scattering off a primary acoustic pulse induced by the directly preceding pump pulse, so as to be scattered there off at a respective depth within the specimen. The method further includes executing an optimization algorithm configured to receive as inputs the measured signal, and/or a processed signal obtained therefrom, and output values of structural parameter(s) characterizing the specimen through minimization of a cost function indicative of a difference between the measured signal and a simulated signal obtained using a forward model simulating the scattering of a pulsed probe beam off at least the primary acoustic pulses.

  • Patent number: 12271669
Abstract: Generated instruction sequences captured from software interactions may be executed as part of formal verification of a design under test. Software-instructed commands to be performed to configure a design under test formatted according to an interface implemented by the design under test can be obtained. A sequence to perform the software-instructed commands may be generated to configure the design under test in a hardware design and verification language. The sequence may then be executed to perform the software-instructed commands to configure the design under test and then perform formal verification on the configured design under test.
