  • Patent number: 7992902
Abstract: An air hose end-connector fitting for freeze-free operation of outdoor service station air machines in winter weather having an internal ice particle screening tube and storage chamber is disclosed, the internal ice particle screen defines a perforated tube within the connector fitting airway which screens out overly-large air borne ice particles, the storage chamber defines a dedicated hollow section within the connector fitting which stores the screened-out ice particles till thawed.

  • Publication number: 20100314867
Abstract: A service station air machine air hose end-connector for outdoor winter operation having an internal hollow chamber for capturing and storing system-clogging ice particles is disclosed. The hollow storing chamber defines an empty section of the fitting's cylindrical ferrule further having an internal air stream screen which collects the blocked particles and stores them till thawed. The internal air stream screen defines a perforated tube in the connector airway which screens out undesirable system clogging ice particles and further serves as a water tight weir. A remote hose crimp insertion barb defines a short tube inserted flush into the hose and having an internal diameter larger than the air hose airway to allow particles formed in the hose to freely pass through the barb and into the ferrule there to captured and stored.

  • Publication number: 20080035820
Abstract: A ceiling-suspended apparatus comprising a stiff, slender four-foot plastic rod having a length-long internal steel-cable strength member, said rod having a spring-biased metal hook at its upper end to engage and lock onto a ceiling mounted eyehook, and having three hand-grip assist elements, the first, an adjustable-position fleece-lined wrist sling, secondly, an adjustable-position rubber ball, and thirdly, a fixed rubber ball at bottom end of the rod

  • Patent number: 6102667
Abstract: An energy efficient electric control circuit for tankless automobile tire inflater machines wherein, in combination with an air pressure vent port, a current-draw tire inflation analog is created, said control circuit having current sensing means for tracking said inflation analog with such precision that virtually no extraneous compressor operation is experienced. The compressor operation is terminated promptly after tire inflation activity is completed rather than after a more prolonged fixed-time period.

  • Patent number: 5546612
Abstract: An automatic toilet seat lowering device integrated into a seat hinge assembly such that a raised seat, when approaching the last ten degrees of upward travel, is latched against the bias of a torsion spring. A rod connected to a flush handle unlatches the seat to allow the spring to bias the seat into an initial stage of descent. During descent, a leaf-type spring on the seat engages a catch on a lid to pull the lid into the descent. The speed of descent of seat and lid is controlled by friction between rotating and non-rotating brake discs mounted on an extension of an axle of the hinge assembly. The brake discs are compressed between a thrust cam driven by the descending seat and a compression spring mounted on the axle. Some of the brake discs are further configured to perform additional functions such as latching the seat in the raised position, and protecting the hinge assembly from excessive-force damage as well as enabling adjustment for differing seat thicknesses.
