  • Publication number: 20240242429
Abstract: Disclosed is a computer-implemented method of generating frames, via a plurality of network-connected servers, for a display device operably connected to a first server. A frame generation trigger is generated in response to a user input to the first server. Application data is transmitted, via the network, to the plurality of servers in response to the frame generation trigger. A plurality of graphics-rendering pipelines are generated in response to the application data on corresponding servers so as to correspondingly generate a plurality of encoded data chunks. This plurality of encoded data chunks are received at the first server, via the network, and then transmitted to the display device via the first server. The display device refreshes based on the plurality of encoded data chunks to generate the one or more frames. A system, and non-transitory computer-readable medium for implementing the method are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 12021935
Abstract: A system and method for processing user requests of a user device by a plurality of networked computing devices is provided. The method involves: (a) receiving a first user request by a first computing device; (b) determining whether the first computing device is optimally selected for processing the user requests; (c) if not optimally selected, selecting from among the networked computing devices an optimal device having an optimal response time; and (d) directing subsequent user requests from the user device to the optimal device. A system and method for maintaining a computing process executable by a computing device is provided. The method involves: (a) receiving by a maintenance device a status indication associated with the computing process; (b) determining one or more proposed actions associated with the status indication; (c) selecting a maintenance action from among the proposed actions; and (d) executing the maintenance action at the computing device.

The method involves: (a) receiving by a maintenance device a status indication associated with the computing process; (b) determining one or more proposed actions associated with the status indication; (c) selecting a maintenance action from among the proposed actions; and (d) executing the maintenance action at the computing device. Determining the proposed actions may involve retrieving known actions from a known-action database of the maintenance device. Determining the proposed actions may involve querying respective databases of a plurality of the maintenance devices to retrieve shareable actions. Selecting the maintenance action may involve emulating each proposed action and the computing process to produce a confidence indication, and selecting the proposed action with the highest confidence.

  • Patent number: 10491540
Abstract: Technologies are provided for managing a federation of resources using modules hosted at a cloud federation management system. In some variants an identity provider module establishes a connection between a first cloud management system associated with a first cloud computing resource and an electronic device associated with a user. The identity provider module may also establish a connection between a second cloud management system associated with a second cloud computing resource and the electronic device associated with the user. A collector module may access first and second data buses respectively hosted at the first and second cloud management systems. The data set gathered by the collector module may then be used to generate cloud federation usage data indicative of a usage of the federation of resources.

  • Publication number: 20160337262
Abstract: A computer-implemented method of managing a federation of cloud computing resources, the method comprising causing an identity provider module to establish a first connection between a first cloud management system associated with a first cloud computing resource and an electronic device associated with a user; accessing, by a collector module, a first data bus; causing the identity provider module to establish a second connection between a second cloud management system associated with a second cloud computing resource and the electronic device; accessing, by the collector module, a second data bus; and compiling a first set of data gathered by the collector module from the first data bus and a second set of data gathered by the collector module from the second data bus to generate cloud federation usage data indicative of a usage of the federation of cloud computing resources by the user.
