Abstract: A computer-implemented method for prioritizing a chat conversation of a plurality of chat conversations is claimed. An identity of a chat recipient of the chat conversation is determined. An initial window priority is established based on the identity of the chat recipient. Chat conversation data is received from the chat recipient. A semantic analysis is performed on the chat conversation data. The priority is recalculated based on the semantic analysis, where the semantic analysis includes identification of user-defined keywords. A priority indication is rendered for the plurality of chat conversations based on the adjusted priority. The chat conversation is closed after a predetermined duration from detection of a signoff phrase, in combination with a predetermined duration of inactivity. The chat conversation is saved or deleted based on the recalculated priority.
