Abstract: A distribution system for a hydrostatic piston machine comprising a rotating body with cylindrical chambers in which pistons are slideable, that are arranged parallel and concentrically with respect to the rotation axis of the body and are connected to respective ports distributed concentrically around the axis on a face of the body. A stationary plate of the system has a surface which makes contact against the body face and has two openings connected to a first and a second fluid duct, the openings being arranged concentrically with respect to the axis and opposite with respect to the ports, to form a passage section for the fluid between one of the chambers and one of the ducts. The openings and the ports are sized so that at the dead center of the stroke of the pistons the incremental ratio between the passage section of the fluid and the rotation angle of the body is different from zero.
