  • Patent number: 5129742
Abstract: A rolling bearing arrangement for an anti-locking brake system has a pulse ring with projections directed toward the fixed ring. The surfaces of the projections that activate the pulse generator are cut during the hard working of the bearing ring. The pulse generator is integrated in the rolling bearing arrangement. Thereby, on one hand, tolerance limited operational differences in the amplitude and shape of the pulses are avoided, especially during slow rotational speeds of the bearing ring. Furthermore, external influences on the pulse generator and pulse ring caused by rough roads do not occur due to the hermetic encapsulation of the sensitive components.

  • Patent number: 5114248
Abstract: A bearing assembly for a shaft mounting in a bore of a housing which comprises an outer ring having two outer raceways for inner and outer rows of rolling elements. The outer ring includes a seating surface section seated in the through-bore and a radially outward-direction flange section, a cover having a contact surface of a ring-shaped flange for sealing off the roller bearing on the outside, and at least one oil bore in the outer ring between the two outer raceways. The oil bore extends radially from the outside toward the inside to a reservoir for the rolling elements to supply or carry away a lubricant to or from the reservoir. The outer ring also has a lateral surface section of a ring-shaped extension carrying the outside outer raceway. This lateral surface section is adjacent to the outside end surface of the flange section of the outer ring. The inner surface of a centering extension is tightly seated on the ring-shaped extension.

  • Patent number: 4990000
Abstract: A rolling bearing especially adapted for vehicle wheels or the like, has an inner part, an outer ring and, one or more rows of rolling elements rolling between the inner part and the outer ring. The outer ring has a bore with outer races for the rolling elements and a flange projecting radially outward, the flange having a locating face at one end thereof. The locating face contains holes for the attachment of the flange to the mating face of a connecting element by screws. In order to allow the holes of the flange of the outer ring to become distributed along an extremely small reference diameter on the locating face, they extend obliquely radially outward from the locating face at an acute angle with respect to the bearing axis.

  • Patent number: 4884901
Abstract: A bearing race (1) of a bearing is provided with a sealing retention ring (6) in whose retention hole (9) a sealing ring (10) is placed. The sealing retention ringe (6) is provided with angle code means implemented, preferably, in the form of an annular gear (20) which can be scanned by a sensor (22) for recording the revolutions.

  • Patent number: 4647231
Abstract: A multiple-row tapered rolling bearing in an O-arrangement has an outer ring, a pair of abutting inner rings, and tapered rolling bodies arranged therebetween. The inner rings are axially secured together by a clamping ring which form-locks with annular grooves formed in the inner rings. A bore is provided in the outer ring which is adopted to allow a separating tool to be passed therethrough. The separating tool has a cutting edge which is impressed on the clamping ring during relative rotation of the outer and inner rings, thereby severing the clamping ring for disassembling the bearing.
