    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide for methods and systems for Sub-codebook based Trellis Coded Quantization for CSI Feedback. An aspect of the disclosure provides method executed by a receiver. The method includes receiving a signal from a transmitter, via a communication channel between the receiver and the transmitter. The method further includes estimating parameters associated with the channel based on the received signal. The method further includes obtaining phase information from the estimated parameters. The method further includes applying a trellis coded quantization (TCQ) scheme to the obtained phase information by mapping each sub-codebook index of a set of sub-codebook indices to output bits of each trellis branch making the distance between sub-codebooks maximally equal.

Such a method further includes receiving, by the initiating STA from the plurality of responder STAs, one or more responses based on the sensing request. In some embodiments, the announcement frame further indicates resource unit assignments for receiving acknowledgements from the plurality of responder STAs. In some embodiments, the method further includes receiving, by the initiating STA from the plurality of responder STAs, the acknowledgements indicating a willingness to participate in the sensing procedure.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for emulating Full Duplex (FD) transmissions between two or more devices by way of out-of-band Full Duplex communication, also known as Frequency Division Duplexing-Full Duplex (FDD-FD) communication. FD communication refers to a wireless communication device being able to transmit and receive communications at the same time. In out-of-band FD communication, a first communication channel is used for transmitting a first communication in one direction and a second communication channel is used for simultaneously transmitting a second communication in the reverse direction. Examples relate to management frames for managing channel availability and channel selection for implementing the out-of-band FD communication. An example wi-fi management frame includes an identification of both the first channel for the wireless communication device to transmit on, and the second channel for the wireless communication device to simultaneously receive on.

Upon receiving a TXOP, the device preferentially transmits RTA frames before frames mapped to the access category awarded the TXOP. Additional aspects allow for pre-emptive priority transmission of RTA frames.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for generating a control signal for automatic wireless network version detection of a transmission. The control signal enables a receiver to detect the wireless network version detection of the transmission, so that the proper wireless network version is used for interpreting signaling information and decoding of the payload of the transmission. In some examples, the control signal is within a preamble of the transmission. The wireless network version can be an IEEE 802.11 version, such as proposed IEEE 802.11be. The control signal is compatible with legacy systems and can indicate the legacy signaling information by way of a Legacy Signal (SIG) (L-SIG) symbol. In some examples, the control signal can indicate the wireless network version by using an identifier symbol which is generated from at least part of, but is not identical to, the L-SIG symbol.

The AP receives each STA's status information, and controls an amount of spreading of the payload data that can flexibly and variably takes into account the desired amount of peak power consumption, the required data rate, and the channel conditions. Based on these factors, the AP determines a number of sub-carriers for each STA that will be used to carry the spread payload data. Example embodiments can address high power peak consumption, data rate inflexibility and inefficient spectrum communication as found in conventional wireless systems.
