Abstract: An electronic device, including a transceiver for sending and receiving data packets via a wireless link with a reference node of a wireless network; a processor; a storage device storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform: performing timestamp packet exchanging between the electronic device and the reference node successively for a certain number of rounds; obtaining a set of time values corresponding to each round; transforming all sets of time values corresponding to the plurality of rounds into one or more low-rank matrices; applying a Matrix-Completion-Based formulation to the one or more low-rank matrices to obtain a recovered matrix; calculating clock parameters and transmission delay associated with the wireless link based on the recovered matrix; and synchronizing the electronic device with respect to the reference node based on the clock parameters and the transmission delay.
