Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for facilitating trace touch input through an input device of a computing system. The input device may include a touch-based input device, such as a touch screen input device. For example, some embodiments may provide a trace input graphical user interface (GUI) object (or “trace input object”) for facilitating trace touch input. The trace input object may include a graphical object, such as a target or pencil-shaped object, presented on a touch screen that is configured to copy or otherwise represent trace touch input entered by a user such that the touch input results are completely visible to the user in substantially real-time as they are being entered by the user. In this manner, users are able to achieve efficient and accurate touch input results when entering trace touch input through a touch-based input device.

Abstract: Systems, methods and computer-readable storage media for securely authenticating client computing devices and receiving medical information at a medical information system are described. Patients and client computing devices associated with the patients may be enrolled with the medical information system. A client computing device may capture medical information, such as an image of a portion of the body of medical significance (for example, a wound). The client computing device may be authenticated by the medical information system by matching information in a client computing device authentication request with information in a device database accessible by the medical information system. Once authenticated, the client computing device may send an upload request to the medical information system including medical information. The medical information system may store the medical information in an associated patient profile in a patient database.

Abstract: A mobile device and method for capturing and transmitting medical images. The mobile device includes a camera component configured to acquire an image, a communications interface configured to establish an operable connection to a server, and a processing device operably connected to the camera component and the communications interface. The processing device is configured perform the method of capturing and transmitting the medical images, the method including causing the camera component to acquire an image of a wound on a patient's body, receiving location information associated with the acquired image, wherein the location information indicates where on the patient's body the wound is located, and transmitting, in response to a user request, the acquired image and location information to the server via the communications interface.
