    Abstract: A pneumatic tire includes a tread, two annular bead portions, a carcass ply having two turnup end portions, a first reinforcing structure disposed at one of the bead portions, and an annular first cap structure encompassing a first end portion of the first reinforcing structure. Each turnup end portion is wrapped around one of the annular bead portions. The first reinforcing structure is disposed at one of the bead portions. The first cap structure encompasses the first end portion of the first reinforcing structure. The first cap structure has a U-shaped cross-section for surrounding the first end portion. The first cap structure is constructed of reinforced fabric with fibers oriented in the range from ?45° to +45° with respect to a radial direction of the pneumatic tire.
