  • Patent number: 5826131
Abstract: A photosensitive material processing apparatus is provided with a loading section for loading therein a film container accommodating a film which is wound from one edge section in the longitudinal section thereof around a spool shaft with the edge section thereof in the longitudinal section separated from the spool shaft for development and also which is returned in the separated state to a customer, said film accommodated therein in the state of being wound around the spool shaft; a feeding device means for feeding the film into the loading section from another edge section of the film wound around the spool shaft and also retaining the film in the state where the former edge section of the film in the longitudinal direction is kept locked in the loading section; and a single processing tank for receiving a portion of the film fed out by the feeding means from the loading section and developing the film with a processing liquid.

  • Patent number: 5809362
Abstract: A photosensitive material processing device having a processing tank in which is stored a processing solution for processing photosensitive materials. The processing tank is formed such that, given that a tank volume is V milliliters and a path length is L centimeters, a value V/L is less than or equal to 25. A circulating path which circulates the processing solution within the processing tank is provided. A cast heater which heats the processing solution in the circulating path to a predetermined temperature is provided on the circulating path. Accordingly, because the processing tank is long and thin, stores a small amount of processing solution, and has a value V/L of less than or equal to 25, the cast heater heats the processing solution to the predetermined temperature in a short time and stably maintains the predetermined temperature. The photosensitive material processing device is advantageous in terms of cost and environmental preservation.

  • Patent number: 4183751
Abstract: A process for developing a photosensitive material, and a device therefor, are disclosed wherein an image on a photosensitive material consisting of a cover base laminated through the intermediary of a photosensitive layer to a support member is developed into a visible image by stripping the cover base from the support member. A preliminary stripping step of stripping the cover base from the support member in the leading end portion thereof is first performed. This is immediately followed by the reorientation of the leading end portion of the cover base to bring the same into registration with the support member. Therefore, a final stripping step is performed wherein the cover base is successively separated from the leading end portion thereof towards the trailing end thereof from the support member.

  • Patent number: 4165251
Abstract: A developing device for a photosensitive material consisting of a cover base laminated through the intermediary of a photosensitive layer to a support member develops the photosensitive material by stripping the cover base from the support member. The developing device employs a stripping roller consisting of the combination of a plurality of diametrically small separating rollers and a plurality of diametrically large brush rollers arranged in alternating side by side relation. A plurality of nip rollers contact respective ones of the separating rollers. The stripping roller is rotated in a direction opposite to the direction of movement of a photosensitive material and disposed in a photosensitive transporting passage with its brush rollers contacting the cover base surface. The cover base is stripped at its leading end from the support member by the brush rollers, and the leading end of the cover base is held for transportation between the separating rollers and the nip rollers.
