  • Patent number: 7894087
Abstract: Disclosed is a process control system for connecting a plurality of devices and a process control server, which manages the plurality of devices, via a network. The system accepts input of a job, creates a schedule of each device necessitated by the job that has been input and causes the job to be executed by each device based upon the schedule. If an error has occurred in a certain device during execution of the job, the system extracts executable operation contents based upon the schedule from operation contents stored previously with respect to the error, presents the operation contents and allows the operation contents to be selected, and updates the schedule in accordance with operation contents selected by an operator in charge in accordance with the displayed presentation.

  • Patent number: 7847968
Abstract: It is possible to provide an information processing apparatus capable of appropriately processing a job for case binding without depending on the sequence of page data constituting the job, a method for controlling the apparatus and a program. To accomplish this, a job for case binding is inputted, and the inputted job is stored in storage means of the image processing apparatus. A bookbinding cover attribute is set for page data to be a cover, in the job stored in the storage means. The order of output of page data in the job is determined based on the set attribute. The page data in the job stored in the storage means are read and outputted to a printer unit in accordance with the determined output order.

  • Patent number: 6064777
Abstract: An image forming apparatus has a developing device which develops a portion of one page into raster image data by translating a page describing language. A memory stores the developed partial image data of one page, and a reader reads an original in the units into which the original is divided. A composition device forms composite image data on the basis of the image data read from the memory and the original image data read from the memory and the original image data read by the reader. A control circuit controls the development device, the reader and an image forming device so as to develop an image of one page in the predetermined units. In addition the control circuit operates the reader, the composition device and the image forming device so as to form an image in synchronism with development of an image in the units, and repeats image development in the units to form an image for one page.
